    District Development Facilitator- Northern Cape

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    Programme Implementation

    • Assist in identifying areas for support within districts through rigorous research and analysis.
    • Work closely with the R&D Manager to map and implement development interventions based on district needs identified through research processes.

    Workshop Facilitation and Training

    • Design and facilitate workshops aimed at building capacity for district officials, educators, and other stakeholders.
    • Lead training sessions and offer mentoring and coaching to district officials to enhance their professional growth and development.

    Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

    • Maintain collaborative relationships with district and provincial education officials as well as external stakeholders.
    • Work collaboratively within the MET team to ensure effective and efficient implementation of district development programmes.

     Research and Evaluation

    • Conduct monitoring and evaluation of education development initiatives by employing an action research approach.
    • Assist with compiling formative and summative research reports to ensure projects align with needs, goals and deadlines.

    Administrative Management

    • Maintain an efficient administrative system, including keeping school and district information records and contact records up to date.
    • Ensure all documentation and data related to district development are well-organized and easily accessible.

    Project Coordination

    • Coordinate district development projects, managing logistics, timelines, research and risks.
    • Ensure project milestones are met, and quality control is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

    Reporting

    • Submit regular progress reports within the programme framework, ensuring clarity and thoroughness in all submissions.
    • Contribute to annual research reports, summarising findings, progress, and recommendations.

    Travel and Tool Management

    • Willingness to travel within South Africa as the programme requires.
    • Manage tools of trade required for district development and support initiatives as per policy.

    Educational Requirements

    • Honours or Master’s Degree in education and a professional teaching qualification.
    • A post-graduate qualification in the field of psychology is a strong recommendation.

    Experience Requirements

    • Minimum of 5-10 years school/district development experience within government or the NGO/NPO education sector

    Experience in:

    • Designing and facilitating workshops
    • Training and capacity building
    • Coaching and mentoring of district officials, educators and/or other stakeholders in the education sector
    • Research, particularly in monitoring and evaluation of education development initiatives
    • Report writing
    • Education leadership and management

    Key Account Manager- Northern Cape & Free State

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    Deliver Strong Financial Performance:

    • Drive profitable growth and increase market share in the Northern Cape and Free State regions.
    • Identify key accounts and develop tailored sales plans and targets with the support of the Provincial Manager.
    • Execute the Provincial Sales Strategy, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term profitability.
    • Promote Maskew Miller Learning  as a market leader in educational products and solutions.
    • Identify and explore new markets and disruptions in the private and public sectors to ensure sustainable growth aligned with revenue targets.
    • Proactively detect and create revenue-generating opportunities.

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Engage and collaborate with key colleagues to ensure the Provincial strategy is aligned and understood.
    • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders such as agencies, Provincial officials, and corporates to position Maskew Miller Learning  as a trusted education partner.
    • Enhance Maskew Miller Learning ’s brand through regular interactions with stakeholders, offering educational solutions that exceed expectations.
    • Position Maskew Miller Learning  as a thought leader in education and influence key institutions to adopt Maskew Miller Learning  products.

    Market Intelligence & New Opportunities:

    • Use market insights to position Maskew Miller Learning  as a leader in education.
    • Present and implement new business projects across the territory, ensuring continuous monitoring of risks and progress.
    • Represent Maskew Miller Learning  at key provincial and national trade shows.

    Customer Centricity:

    • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by placing customers at the centre of decisions and activities.

    Educational Requirements

    • Relevant 3-year degree (essential).

    Experience Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years working experience in the South African Education sector.
    • Project management experience is essential.
    • Proven capability to understand and meet customer needs.
    • Strong influencing and networking abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment.
    • Extensive travel is required within the Northern Cape and Free State regions.
    • Valid Driver’s license.
