    MW Copywriter (Cape Town CBD)

    Our ideal candidate:

    • Has proven cut-throat writing skills to work on a new dynamic retail fashion brand
    • Able to work across various target markets, platforms and channels
    • A proven understanding of retail brands
    • Keeps a cool head and delivers exceptional results under pressure, against fast and tight deadlines and in volume
    • Able to work collaboratively in a team and is resourceful; focused and level-headed
    • Must be Cape Town based and willing to work in office as well as from home

    Requirements

    • Relevant degree/diploma in Copywriting essential, or adequate experience as a Copywriter
    • Relevant years work experience as a Copywriter in an advertising agency (a television and radio portfolio is required)
    • Solid knowledge/understanding of digital platforms in conjunction with more traditional channels essential
    • An interest in fashion would be advantageous
    • Conceptual thinking – able to ideate from conception to execution
    • Solid working knowledge and understading of social and paid media, and basic understanding of SEO/ Metadata

    IT Intern (Cape Town CBD)

    Responsibilities:

    • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems (Windows and Mac) and across a range of software applications.
    • Assist all our users with any logged IT related incident when called upon.
    • Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service to the customer as soon as possible; escalating incidents to other support teams where necessary.
    • Accurately record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system. To install and configure new IT equipment.
    • Resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware.
    • Resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners.
    • Maintain a first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
    • Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organization.
    • Be a highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities.
    • Create, maintain, and publish relevant support documentation to assist all staff in the quick resolution of their incidents and service requests and enable users to become more self-sufficient.
    • Be willing to attend internal training as necessary to keep up to date with the latest technology and internal system processes.
    • Work within the relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
    • Participate in the Annual Performance Review Process.
    • Actively support equality and diversity policies of 99c
    • To attend training courses as identified and agreed for appropriate development.

    Requirements

    Education/Qualifications:

    • Good general level of education. A-levels or equivalent, with GCSE grades A-C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics.

    • ITIL Foundation Certificate
    • Customer Service Qualification
    • ECDL (or equivalent)

    TTL Art Director (Cape Town CBD)

    • An eye for detail, ability to work well under pressure, as well as being up to date with the latest digital marketing trends, techniques and technologies are essential requirements
    • Working closely with the copywriter to generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfill the client's brief
    • Producing 'storyboards' (television) or 'roughs' or 'scamps' (print) to communicate ideas to the client
    • Gaining an understanding of the target audience and business which the advert is targeted at
    • Meeting with the creative director and account managers before presenting ideas to clients
    • Pitching ideas to clients
    • Working on location
    • Attending meetings at production houses and with other directors
    • Working in editing suites to oversee the finished product

    Requirements

    • TTL Art Direction and Design with a strong background in ATL
    • Carry out visual and conceptual skills from initial brief to final artwork
    • Strong digital design Portfolio
    • Strong conceptual ability preferred
    • Great presentation skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills
    • Committed collaborative team player
    • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
    • Proficient in: Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and After Effects a plus)
    • Basic Animation a plus
    • Digital Design
    • Emailers
    • Social Media Posts
    • Web Banners
    • UX and UI Design advantageous, but not essential
    • FIGMA

     Experience:

    • At least 4 years’ experience as a TTL Art Director in an advertising agency a must
    • Experience with ATL art direction and design
    • Experience with social media design
    • Experience in high-volume environments with fast turnarounds preferred

     Qualification:

    • A completed Tertiary qualification in Design/Art Direction
