Minimum Requirements

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Grade 12 with Maths and Science (At least 50% for both subjects)
• N3 preferably with Process Instrumentation, where N3 is a minimum requirement.
• ISO Vibration Analysis CAT 2 (CAT 3 advantageous)
• Industrial Trade Test (advantageous) 

EXPERIENCE:

• Sales experience (advantageous)
• Asset Reliability knowledge
• Drivers Licence Required

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

• Pursue new customers
• Support current customer base
• Face to face consultative selling
• Monthly sales forecast report for day-to-day sales
• Execute defined sales strategies to win and meet sales budget
• Develop sales strategies to meet sales targets
• Consult with internal support structures for engineering solutions to assist customers
• Gather data required for sizing and selection, refer to sales support and internal resources for solutions
• Present product presentations and demonstrations
• Follow up on quoted opportunities
• Provide win / loss reasons in customer relationship management system
• Administer sales quotes register 
• Provide effective after-sales service to customers
• Create and maintain relationships with new stakeholders
• Gather customer information to identify new opportunities

Minimum Requirements

• Good understanding working with Microsoft Windows 10 Experience and MS Server 2016/19 advantage. E.g., Formatting and installing operating systems. Computer hardware and BIOS setup. 
• Building or setup of PC’s 
• Basic Software configuration skills of any Product: e.g.: V-Basic, Python, MATLAB, C++ 
• DCS and or PLC and SCADA Configuration Experience 
• DeltaV DCS experience would be an advantage
• Basic Understanding of Project Execution according to Industrial / Systematic procedures
• Office: Word, Excel
• Report writing skills

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Gain Basic knowledge relating to engineering within a Process Control environment

Gain Basic knowledge in control system project execution knowledge:

• Gain Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet interfaces such as Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet
• Gain knowledge in configuring graphical interfaces
• Gain Knowledge in configuration of Function Block Diagram, Sequential Function chart and Structures Text
• Competent in control system Server/ Workstation and software version upgrading and migration
• Gain Knowledge in hardware and software fault finding from system to instrument

• Ensure compliance with ACS and Customer safety practices at all times
• Competent in working with MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Drivers Licence (Code EB) or higher capacity vehicle

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

• Complete Emerson DeltaV Field Service training within 2-3 months
• Study the Emerson DCS Hardware and Software capabilities and best practices
• Learn DeltaV Software configuration methods and principles
• Have good understanding of DCS Software layers and components and have good understanding of how a system would control a plant. 
• Configure Graphics according to requirements
• Configure basic to medium complexity Software objects
• Work in conjunction with Engineers, project manager/s ensuring project execution within time and Budget
• Strict adherence to ACS policies and procedures 
• Fair Understanding of various Control System Cabinet designs according to Emerson standards

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

• Produce Technically acceptable Tenders and Proposals - Update and Utilise instrument/valve sizing and selection programmes to determine            specific product solutions as per customers’ requirements, advise customers of possible alternative solutions
• Source quotations for product from local and overseas suppliers
• Generate Pricing schedule from updated price lists
• Have efficiency in the use of FF2 and other software for costing purposes.
• Check quote for technical accuracy and advise customer of any deviations from original RFQ
• Ensure On time submission of quotes - DTD (non-proposal) 90% of quotes in 3 days
• Oversee Customer and Supplier queries within 2days – Response and Solutions
• Maintain and Improve Customer relationships
• Order turnaround in 2 days – Correct Order processing, Order Acknowledgements and Bill of material
• Update CRM System with Won & Lost orders
• Create server folder containing all relevant correspondence of each opportunity
• Assist Customer, Order processing and Project Execution with technical query resolution
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, assuring continuous quality improvement & safety awareness
