    Supply Chain Supervisor - 3C Metal Belmet (Bellville, Stikland)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage the receipt and coordination of all incoming and outgoing materials, including raw materials and fabricated items.
    • Verify that heat/serial numbers on materials match their certificates, contacting suppliers if discrepancies occur.
    • Direct materials to appropriate laydown areas (marine yard, pronto, service centre, or workshop).
    • Maintain and distribute material certificates to the Project Manager (PM) or Project Engineer (PE).
    • Create delivery notes for outgoing materials and coordinate delivery with support services.
    • Inform PM/PE when materials arrive.
    • Track current projects and collaborate with PM/PE to plan upcoming shipments and meet client requirements.
    • Organize bagging and tagging for larger projects' materials, especially those with high volumes of loose parts.
    • Tag and identify materials after prefabrication.
    • Inspect loads for damage post-packing, arranging touch-ups with MCM and informing PM/PE/QC

    Export Projects:

    • Prepare Commercial Invoice and Packing List (CIPL) with PM/PE assistance.
    • Ensure all CIPL items are packed and securely lashed, overseeing physical packing.
    • Act as the liaison between the freight forwarder and 3C Metal Belmet.
    • Schedule drop-off and collection dates for containers/trucks.
    • Coordinate container drop-off locations to ensure efficient packing.

    Knowledge / Qualifications / Experience :

    • 3- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
    • National Diploma/ Degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics Management/ Procurement Management
    • Must be able to manage a team of 3 to 4 direct reports
    • Highly proficient in computer skills

    Pressure Test Supervisor - Belmet

    Key responsibilities summarised:

    • Conduct pressure tests on various pipe sizes and pressures.
    • Ensure all documentation is complete and signed off before testing.
    • Set up and adjust pressure testing equipment.
    • Monitor and document pressure testing charts, providing reports to
    • Quality personnel and management.
    • Read and interpret instructions, documentation, and engineering drawings.
    • Select appropriate equipment and plan test setups.
    • Coordinate with other technicians and allocate resources.
    • Identify and troubleshoot problems, advising on corrective actions.
    • Lead the team when necessary.
    • Train and authorize new pressure test technicians.
    • Maintain and calibrate pressure testing equipment.
    • Deploy to offshore sites as required.
    • Learn additional disciplines such as Post Weld Heat Treatment.
    • Provide input on pressure testing inquiries.
    • Report cost-saving measures.
    • Follow management directions and perform related tasks.
    • Ensure safety and address hazards, maintaining tidy work areas.
    • Account for and properly store equipment and consumables.
    • Adhere to safety regulations and report accidents and near misses.
    • Comply with OHS ACT 85 of 1993 and other health, safety, environmental, quality, legal, and regulatory requirements.

     Knowledge / Qualifications / Experience:

    • BTech Mechanical Engineering
    • Formal Pressure Testing Technical Certification
    • 5 - 10 years’ experience as a Pressure Test Technician in the Industry.
    • Good understanding of English and Mathematics.
    • Be able to work away from home for the company.
    • Keen interest in the Pressure Testing Environment.
    • Ability to work with others to achieve job goals.
    • Be able to communicate, read and write effectively in the English language.

    Trainee Engineer -3C Metal Belmet

    Responsibilities

    • Support the project team by applying theoretical knowledge and making suggestions and implement solutions to optimize process under review.

    Duties

    • Manage tasks allocated by Senior Project Manager
    • Assist with preparation tenders and material take off

    Finance Clerk / Receptionist (Cinco Engineering)

    Responsibilities and duties:

    • Generating purchase orders using Pastel software based on email instructions, including for store purchases.
    • Processing purchase orders received until one hour before close of business on the same day.
    • Deleting duplicate purchase orders in Pastel.
    • Communicating with suppliers to ensure timely receipt of monthly invoices and statements.
    • Coordinating with personnel to obtain approval for invoices not matching signed purchase orders.
    • Linking purchase orders, supplier invoices, and delivery notes.
    • Completing supplier credit applications and updating the supplier list upon approval.
    • Compiling a list of payable account creditors and providing it to the Accountant by the 15th of each month.
    • Managing the archiving of supplier invoices.
    • Expediting orders and deliveries.
    • Operating the switchboard at the Cinco office.
    • Submitting a Weekly Query List to the Accountant every Friday.
    • Processing payment requisitions.
    • Handling the processing and reconciliation of credit card statements and month-end batches.
    • Scanning project invoices.
    • Managing staff welfare.
    • Assisting with purchasing tasks.

    Knowledge / Qualifications / Experience:

    • Grade 12
    • Certificate or Diploma will be to your advantage but not required
    • Experience working with Pastel
