  • Application Specialist, IDS (Integrated Diagnostic Solutions)

    Main responsibilities will include:

    • Instrument, applications, and product education / training.
    • Present focused product training programs.
    • Work closely with Management and Marketing to identify key market trends.
    • Build relationships within accounts to maximize sales of a specified range of products by creating and developing “Best Practice” procedures.
    • Support the Sales team during the pre-selling and post-selling processes.
    • Attendmeetings, conferences, and exhibitions.
    • To prepare and deliver formal technical and/or salespresentations.

    About you

    • Clinical Pathology, Med Tech, or similar education background
    • Application Specialist experience in the Diagnostic or Medical Device environment.
    • Strong knowledge and expertise in the following - Microbiology (TB, blood stream infections, ID/AST), Molecular Biology, Laboratory Management, Cytology (will be an advantage)

    Account Manager, Integrated Diagnostics Solutions (IDS), SADC

    Main Responsibilities will include:

    • Executes all aspects of the IDS business strategy for assigned markets to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations.
    • Responsible for end-to-end distributor management including key metrics tracking and delivery on the IDS portfolio.
    • Responsible for key financial business processes including, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Proactively monitors the financial performance of the territory and communicates any deviations from critical project plans to the Territory Manager. Ensures implementation of any necessary contingency plans and/or corrective actions to effectively mitigate risks.
    • Leads demand generation and pipeline management to support accurate forecasting.
    • Uses the CRM system to manage the sale force effectiveness KPIs for the territory.
    • Engage with the external partners, healthcare providers and decision makers to align on the BD strategy and building strong partnerships.

    About you

    • 3 years’ experience as a sales rep and 1-2 years as a key account manager
    • Proven sales track record
    • Diagnostic or Laboratory background and experience is preferred.
    • Tertiary qualification in science (diploma or bachelor’s degree) /business degree

    Regional Sales Manager, Integrated Diagnostics Solutions (IDS), Southern Africa

    Main responsibilities will include

    • Executes all aspects of the IDS business strategy for assigned markets to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations.
    • Responsible for end-to-end distributor management including key metrics tracking and delivery on the IDS portfolio.
    • Supports the development of marketing plans including IDS value preposition.
    • Implementation of go-to-market strategy including market development initiatives to ensure effective leverage of resources and capabilities.
    • Responsible for key financial business processes including, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Proactively monitors the financial performance of the territory and communicates any deviations from critical project plans. Ensures implementation of any necessary contingency plans and/or corrective actions to effectively mitigate risks.
    • Leads demand generation and pipeline management to support accurate forecasting.
    • Uses the CRM system to manage the sale force effectiveness KPIs for the territory.
    • Engage with the external partners, healthcare providers and decision makers to align on the BD strategy and building strong partnerships.
    • C- Suite engagements and management of the relationship

    About you

    • Tertiary qualification in science (diploma or bachelor’s degree) / business degree
    • Will have more than 5 years of sales/ marketing and business management experience including at least 3 years with full P&L accountability- recommended.
    • Will have a track record of success in the Health Science market and / or preferably in the diagnostics field, built on an extensive network of KOL and scientific societies.
    • Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage, coordinate and mobilize teams.
    • Understands the complexities within the organization; is practical and perceptive in using appropriate methods, resources, and the cooperation of others to accomplish objectives.

    Key Account Manager, Integrated Diagnostics Solutions (IDS)

    Key Responsibilities:-

    • Develop and execute successful sales strategies.
    • Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of sales and opportunities pipeline.
    • Work closely with local leadership and the marketing team to identify new leads and opportunities to close business. Own and be accountable for new business leads and current customer base
    • Develop and maintain a clear understanding of current market, vision of expected market evolution and implications on customer needs
    • Support and expand BD portfolio in current customer accounts and be the first point of contact for customer queries relating to sales activity and service
    • Travel as required to visit customers, and attend business meetings
    • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and BD core values
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

    About You:-

    • 3 years’ experience as a sales rep and 1-2 years as a key account manager
