    External Sales Specialist (Food & Beverage)

    Role and Responsibilities:

    The requirements include but are not limited to:

    • Excellent knowledge of Process Automation products and Industry applications
    • A sound technical knowledge and the ability to solve problems Preparation of an annual revenue budget and territory sales plan Preparation of RFs (Rolling Forecasts), in conjunction with the Salesforce Sales Pipeline
    • Achievement of annual sales budget and RFs (Rolling Forecasts) Achievement of year on year agreed sales growth targets
    • Setting positive sales territory revenue budgets
    • Follow up on quotations(opportunities) and provide meaningful forecasts Working closely with the responsible Internal Sales, Service Team, Projects Team, and Marketing Team.
    • Knowledge of CRM systems
    • Form part of the Food & Beverage Local Industry Group (LIG)

    Qualification & Profile:

    • Matric + National Diploma or NQF6
    • 5-10 years in Industrial Instrumentation or Automation Industry
    • 5-10 years’ experience in a Technical Sales Environment
    • 5-10 years’ experience working in the Food & Beverage Industry
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • Knowledge of Level, Flow, Pressure, Temperature and Analytical Products
    • Knowledge of Food & Beverage Processes, Standards and Industry requirements
    • Ability to promote services around instrumentation
    • Must be a resident in the area of work
    • Confidence, motivation, energy and resilience
    • Excellent communicator with strong customer service skills
    • Good planning and organizational skills
    • Must have the ability to do presentations to customers either on a one-on-one or in a team for Products and Services.

    Area Sales Manager Gauteng

    Role and Responsibilities: 

    The requirements include but are not limited to

    • Identify and quantify business potential for the complete range of products, services and solutions for the Gauteng region
    • To set detailed forecasts and targets to grow the market share in the region in line with organizational goals and objectives
    • To develop and lead an effective sales team and Representatives to ensure consistent achievement of sales and profit targets
    • To use the Salesforce.com tool as defined in the C360 sales process of the company to effectively manage the development of leads, opportunities and accounts to meet the agreed targets
    • Improve penetration in Tier A/Tier B accounts (cross selling)
    • Improve the penetration of added value such as services and solutions at Tier A/Tier B customers through consultative selling
    • Implement sales initiatives, such as the development of temperature sales
    • Develop new accounts from Tier B, C and D to Tier A accounts
    • Project identification, registration and management of the pursuit and acquisition process according to Standard 201 on Salesforce.com
    • To effectively manage and resolve customer complaints according to the C360 process
    • To increase customer satisfaction in the region

    Qualification + Profile:

    • National Diploma or N6 and Trade Test in Instrumentation and Automation 8-10 years in Instrumentation
    • 8-10 years’ experience in a Technical Sales Environment
    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Sales Management
    • Experience in the sales and implementation of process Control Projects and Solutions
    • Exceptional knowledge of field instrumentation (practical and theoretical)
    • Good knowledge of industrial automation processes
    • Understanding of the South African industrial automation market
    • Consultative selling skills
