    Senior Administrator

    Role purpose:

    • To provide administrative support to TowerCo’s Property Management Department by processing applicable documentation to ensure that rental and electricity consumption payments are made timeously and to liaise with landlords, electricity providers and other third parties to assist with enquiries. Assisting to process lease/contract data for data migration. Assisting in all administrative related duties.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • To prepare and reconcile data for data migration
    • To ensure that the relevant information from base station lease agreements is processed and maintained on the relevant tools e.g. SAP.
    • To liaise with landlords, municipalities and other third parties to ensure that rent – and electricity consumption payments are made timeously.

    SAMS Administrator

    Role purpose:

    • Take direct responsibility of the SAMS Administrator includes the end-to-end ownership of the business and personal requirements relating to the vetting, onboarding, compliance, administration and reporting requirements, enabling full access management and control of site related access on a national basis.
    • This includes the responsibility to provide system administration support and management in line with the TowerCo Site Access Management System (SAMS) to enable seamless, safe, and secure site security services.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Perform end-to-end system administration activities on the TowerCo Site Access Management Systems (SAMS).
    • Liaison with TowerCo Business Unit Management on the approved list of personnel, maintenance teams and field technicians including contractors, suppliers, strategic partners and stakeholders that must be onboarded on the TowerCo Site Access Management Systems.
    • Perform ongoing administration, including onboarding, registration suspension or off-boarding of TowerCo Business Units’ personnel, maintenance teams and field technicians including contractors, suppliers, strategic partners and stakeholders on the TowerCo Site Access Management Systems.
    • Ensure screening and vetting of TowerCo business unit personnel, maintenance teams and field technicians including contractors, suppliers, strategic partners and stakeholders is completed based on the criteria and set of rules as prescribed in the Tower Site Access Management Policy.
    • Provide clarity, guidelines and operational direction on the Tower Site Access Management step-to-step processes that Business Units’ personnel, maintenance teams and field technicians including contractors, suppliers, strategic partners and stakeholders must adhere to and comply with in relation to TowerCo Site Access Management Systems.
    • Perform daily monitoring of Site Access Management Systems in relation to User site access requests and report systems violations.
    • Generate and create dashboard reporting to provide integrated reporting and management information and decision-making.
    • Escalate systems related issues and advance operational support requirements to Service Providers Technical Teams for system support, troubleshooting and problem management.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:
    Technical / professional qualifications:

    • Grade 12 is essential with a 3-year qualification in a relevant area preferred.
    • 3-5 years of working experience in system administration, support administration, application support and information management, with specific emphasis on the administration of security systems experience are preferred.

    • Problem-solving skills, able to navigate through difficult negotiations, including a practical working knowledge relating to system administration.

    Senior Specialist Metering & Billing

    Description

    • End to end ownership of the AC/DC site power metering on a national basis, while providing technical support to the finance and property departments in all technical aspects of power billing related matters, with a focus on ensuring accurate billing. This includes metering solution design requirements that will meet both the AC and DC billing requirements. The role requires focus on the various related site-specific operational and maintenance requirements to ensure the effective and accurate billing of the owned, managed and supported power infrastructure.

    Job Responsibility
    Metering

    • Realise site-specific metering strategies for different customers based on the design support from the power solution architects.
    • Support the operations and maintenance partners to ensure metering capabilities on site are never compromised and technically operational all of the time.
    • Lead, plan and oversee the testing, installation and maintenance of AC and DC billing meters.
    • Provide technical support on all metering and billing related matters.
    • Design and lead technical metering solutions to ensure sound financial management in all billing and metering activities and support the TowerCo management team with all related requirements.
    • Identify world class leading technical metering solutions for both AC and DC requirements.
    • Responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of weekly and daily work plans and schedules on a real-time basis for metering operations.

    Compliance Management

    • Support the TowerCo preparation for ISO compliance and certification.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    Principal Specialist Alternative Energy

    Role purpose:

    • End to end ownership of the Vodacom TowerCo alternative energy technical solution design, solution optimization and site power integration and maintenance planning, ensuring power reliability (site uptime), with a full alternative power cost of ownership responsibility, while achieving the TowerCo strategic objectives in reducing its carbon footprint.
