Requirements:

• A relevant 3 year qualification, with preference in auditing or internal audit as a major. Proof of registration with a recognised profession. Five (5) to eight (8) years relevant experience required includes two (2) years of supervisory experience. Computer Literacy: MS Offive. A Valid Code B Drivers License. Applicants must be literate in at least two of the three Official languages of the Western Cape.

Responsibilities/ Duties:

• The incumbent will be responsible for planning the audit engagements in accordance with the internal audit methodology and Global Internal Audit Standards. Execute the audit engagement, communicating with management and drafting the audit report. Conduct follow up reviews, monitoring compliance tools and conduct investigations when required.

Requirements:

• Trade Test Certificate in Diesel Mechanic; 3-5 years’ post apprenticeship experience required. Additional experience in auto-electric, hydraulics, air brake systems and maintenance of earth moving machines will be an advantage. Valid Code EC driver’s licence with PDP.

• Perform high level complex activities within the trade. Works independently and could supervise staff. Applicants must be literate in at least two of the three languages of the Western Cape.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or higher; Two (2) years continuous operational experience required as a Learner Firefighter or served as a Firefighter in the fire services in a Municipal environment or designated fire services; Fire Fighter 1 Certificate; Hazmat Awareness Certificate; First Aid Level 3 Certificate; Valid Code C1 driver’s licence; Must be physically and mentally fit; Medical Test NFPA 1582; No criminal record.

Other Requirements:

• The incumbent must ensure operational readiness of Vehicles and equipment. Applicants must be literate in at least two of the three Official Languages of the Western Cape.

Responsibilities/ Duties:

• The incumbent is responsible for performing operational functions of the services as determined by the Fire Act in order to save lives and property and render humanitarian services, such as, Fire Fighting; Performing Rescues and Emergency Medical Services; Handling of Hazardous materials incidents; Humanitarian services (Animal rescue, assistance during disasters and mitigation of floods and storm damage); Assist in Fire Prevention activities; Public Fire and Life Safety Education; Take control of small to medium fires/incidents.
