Senior Internal Auditor at Overberg District Municipality

Requirements:

• A relevant 3 year qualification, with preference in auditing or internal audit as a major. Proof of registration with a recognised profession. Five (5) to eight (8) years relevant experience required includes two (2) years of supervisory experience. Computer Literacy: MS Offive. A Valid Code B Drivers License. Applicants must be literate in at least two of the three Official languages of the Western Cape.

Responsibilities/ Duties:

• The incumbent will be responsible for planning the audit engagements in accordance with the internal audit methodology and Global Internal Audit Standards. Execute the audit engagement, communicating with management and drafting the audit report. Conduct follow up reviews, monitoring compliance tools and conduct investigations when required.
