    Supply Chain Project Manager

    About the job

    Manage all projects from scope to execution including project updates, deadlines, administration, approvals and scope creep to ensure that deliverables are met. Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager, interpret data and project manage internal innovation briefs based on market research and convert them into an executable project and business plan. To effectively utilise these insights, combined with a strong internal and external network, manage these projects from scoping to on-time execution.

    Responsibilities:

    • Attend innovation workshops and under guidance of senior management, assess the feasibility of identified NPD projects, as well as existing business improvement projects.
    • Manage NPD Projects by scoping timelines to ensure that product launch dates are met.
    • Evaluate & implement allocated & identified improvement projects relating to sourcing, distribution channels and cost-saving efficiencies
    • Coordinate Technical and Regulatory Change Control Projects, with the support of the Rubicon Technical Services
    • Coordinate allocated parts of the budget and maintain costs against budget
    • Under guidance of Supply Chain Manager, develop knowledge and understanding of the full supply chain in order to assist with day to day planning functions.

    Requirements:

    • Project Management certificate, coupled with at least 3 years’ relevant experience
    • BCom degree will be advantageous.
    • Experience in Demand and Supply, or E-commerce exposure will be advantageous
    • Excellent innovative thinking and pro-active thinking skills are required
    • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills will set you apart from others.

    Syspro Internal Support (Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Description

    • To analyse and support business and system processes implemented or improve the accuracy and effectiveness of the Company’s ERP solution.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Evaluate current manufacturing processes against best practices and analyze variances at the process and transaction level
    • Make process improvement changes to the ERP system as required in conjunction with stakeholders
    • Provide training to users on system changes
    • Maintain smooth operation of the ERP within the Promeal environment
    • Maintain and update system configurations as and when required
    • Conduct day-end validations to pre-empt potential problems
    • Provide daily support to Manufacturing / Stock / Maintenance departments
    • Develop reporting to displaying the information in new forms and content for the purpose of analysis and option exploration
    • Develop tools for monthly reports, dashboards, MES, and other ad hoc requirements
    • Monitor analytics and metrics results
    • Analyse data and highlight trends
    • Implement new data analysis methodologies.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 + Diploma in business or technical subjects
    • 5 years of successful track record in ERP systems is desired
    • Knowledge of Syspro is essential
    • Knowledge of the manufacturing environment
    • SQL server administration experience & basics of programming is essential
    • Knowledge of DMS would be advantageous
    • Ability to deliver faultless work

    Production Coordinator (Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Description

    • To promptly coordinate production activities, planning and administration accurately within the GMP and SOP guideline.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Facilitate all aspects of batch review and preparation checks including document accuracy and adherence to operating procedures
    • Timely gathering and reporting of production information
    • Facilitate and coordinate material issuing, returns and ensure Syspro and MES accuracy
    • Complete/Assist in completing investigations and reports required by production
    • Take ownership of department SOP compliance and audit preparation/close out
    • Manage and maintain department filing system including SOPs
    • Timeously and accurately complete all HR-related administration
    • Ensure accurate stock keeping and management of relevant warehouses
    • Perform necessary investigations, corrections and reports on WIP, stock count, and warehouse variances
    • Coordinate production output and base manning with plan requirements
    • Perform line opening/closing functions
    • Liaise with engineering and maintenance to provide needed production support. 

    Requirements

    • Grade 12, preferably with an Office Administration certificate
    • 1 Year of experience in a similar administrative role is essential
    • 1 Year of experience in manufacturing and/or production environment
    • Good GMP and HACCP knowledge
    • Microsoft Office proficient
    • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail skills
    • Good communication, organizing & planning skills.
