    Site Administrator (Northern Cape - Postmasburg)

    Description

    • Support the team in meeting targets, deadlines, and quality standards by understanding project objectives, coordinating tasks and timelines, and communicating priorities and expectations effectively. 
    • Assist with stock control by labelling, categorising, and tracking inventory using the system; support stock receipt, ensure accurate data entry and storage, perform stock checks, and report discrepancies to the Site Supervisor. 
    • Assist the team in aligning tasks with budget requirements by tracking expenditures, communicating budget status, negotiating favourable supplier terms, identifying cost-saving opportunities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely invoice processing. 
    • Promote operational efficiency by inspecting infrastructure, equipment, and tools; identifying damage or malfunction; scheduling preventative maintenance; and providing training on proper usage and care. 
    • Minimise site risks by regularly inspecting for hazards and safety concerns, monitoring equipment and environmental conditions, understanding emergency response protocols, and keeping the team informed of safety measures. 
    • Contribute to effective warehouse reporting by understanding reporting requirements, coordinating report creation and distribution, capturing data in the system, and filing reports in accordance with procedures on a monthly and ad hoc basis. 

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Diploma in Business Administration / Finance /Sales or a similar.
    • 3+ years administration experience in mining.
    • MS Office software and SAP.

    MMU Controller Gr 2 (Limpopo)

    Description

    • Ensure safe MMU operation by performing daily pre-start safety checks, inspecting all systems and controls, verifying safe conditions, and reporting any issues to the Site Supervisor.
    • Take ownership of MMU care by learning the IBIS Control System, identifying abnormal conditions, performing first-line maintenance, maintaining cleanliness, and decontaminating the unit as scheduled.
    • Assemble primers safely and to specification by collecting materials, referencing blast plans, securing components, inspecting defects, and ensuring proper labeling.
    • Prime blast holes accurately and safely by reviewing blast designs, placing primers and detonators correctly, installing lead lines and blasting cord, and inspecting each hole for compliance.
    • Conduct on-bench quality checks by reviewing designs, measuring drill patterns, hole depths, and stemming lengths, documenting findings, correcting deviations, and reporting risks to the Site Supervisor.
    • Support service work instruction and safety improvements by participating in training, staying current on standards and procedures, providing feedback, and reporting incidents or operational issues.

    Requirements

    • Regulation 277 (2) & (3) of National Road Traffic, Qualified Person to load and off-load dangerous goods.
    • IBIS Control System.
    • Must be fit to work at heights.
    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
    • Code 14 Driver's license (with handling of a manual transmission gearbox).
    • Professional Driver Permit (PrDP) for Dangerous Goods.
    • Blasting Assistant Certificate (Advantageous).
    • Competency A Certificate (Advantageous).
    • 2+ years Code 14 manual transmission gearbox driving experience.
    • 2+ years driving dangerous goods experience.

    Foreman Production (Mpumalanga - Secunda)

    Description

    • Manage the achievement of production delivery targets by developing plant production plans, overseeing implementation, identifying and resolving issues, and monitoring output to ensure targets are met. 
    • Ensure product quality by enforcing compliance with quality standards, overseeing testing and analysis, and identifying and resolving quality-related issues during production. 
    • Oversee start-up and shut-down processes by defining detailed plans, coordinating execution, and ensuring a timely and efficient return to operations. 
    • Optimise production efficiency and minimise waste by identifying improvement opportunities, developing actionable recommendations, and implementing solutions as needed. 
    • Monitor actual expenditure by analyzing financial reports, identifying anomalies or areas of concern, and executing timely corrective actions.
    • Ensure effective implementation of SHE by delivering comprehensive training, completing training programs, and addressing any identified gaps or non-compliance.
    • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by facilitating regular communication, exchanging feedback, and supporting collaboration.
    • Manage workforce resourcing by aligning staffing levels with work demands and assigning resources to meet operational goals. 
    • Supervise staff performance by setting clear expectations, tracking work output, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues through corrective actions. 
    • Monitor the implementation of unit business processes by monitoring compliance, identifying process anomalies, and executing corrective actions as required.
    • Coordinate day to day shutdowns & equipment outages to align with value chain requirements.

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics, Science and English.
    • Diploma in Production Management / Process Engineering or similar.
    • Supervision / Management Qualification.
    • 7+ years as Process Controller, Senior Process Artisan or similar. 
    • 3+ years production experience in manufacturing plant.

    • Deliver technical guidance on the appropriate use of explosive products across varying site conditions and project scopes to ensure safety, compliance, and performance. 
    • Differentiate the company’s offerings by collaborating directly with customers to understand their priorities, identify pain points, and co-create high-value, tailored solutions. 
    • Analyse competitor offerings to identify market gaps, and proactively develop value-added services and innovations that enhance customer outcomes and loyalty. 
    • Collaborate with the Research & Development team to uphold product quality and assurance by defining quality criteria, supporting testing protocols, implementing control measures, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives 

    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent  
    • BSc / B Degree in Mining Engineering 
    • Blasting or Rock Breaker Certificate 
    • Driver’s license 
    • Trained and certified in using technical measuring equipment
    • Competent in Microsoft packages
    • 7+ years’ Explosive Engineer experience in Mining industry
