    Store Manager - Mooirirvier Potchefstroom

    PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION: 

    • To drive brand and consumer experience by managing a high-volume, strategically positioned Brand Flagship store that represents the adidas brand and product in the most impactful way 
    • To work in close collaboration with both the Market and Global teams to shape the strategic direction of the Brand Flagship concept in the Market 
    • To lead the Store Management Team in providing an outstanding consumer experience while maintaining high operational and brand standards. 
    • To drive store profitability by meeting or exceeding store sales and profit targets 
    • To ensure compliance through proper execution of established policies, procedures, initiatives and directives 
    • To drive inventory shrinkage strategies and monitoring processes to minimize inventory shrinkage and ensure accurate stock management

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

    • Deliver exceptional consumer experience tailored to the Brand Flagship through ensuring outstanding execution of global brand and retail operational standards 
    • Foster a positive culture in the store and enable the Store Management team to create an active, authentic and consumer-centric culture in the store 
    • Understand the concept and strategic importance of the Brand Flagship store and think broadly for the organization when setting the direction of the store and creating brand advocacy 
    • Develop and lead the execution of a visionary, well thought-out business plan for the Brand Flagship 
    • Provide input and feedback to different departments and global teams in order to achieve the Brand Flagship ambition 
    • Support and coach the leadership team and associates to drive sales and meet key performance indicators, while managing expenses to increase profitability and drive brand advocacy  
    • Partner with Store Management Teams to hire, develop and build a high performing team 
    • Hold P&L accountability for the Brand Flagship store 
    • Foster a collaborative working relationship with both the global and the Market organizations  
    • Collaborate with Line Manager to develop clear action plans for the Brand Flagship and thrive to achieve objectives, deliverables and timelines 
    • Communicate and provide visibility on product needs/other operational needs and opportunities to the Line Manager 
    • Ensure all established Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards are consistently executed and maintained   
    • Ensure consistent implementation of all global programs, initiatives and strategies within the Brand Flagship 
    • Leverage global and local tools to lead the performance management, succession, recruiting, hiring and development activities, resulting in high employee engagement  
    • Promote a high-performance culture in the Brand Flagship by setting clear expectations, holding employees accountable, creating an effective and efficient work environment, and setting goals that focus the team on key drivers that impact success  
    • Take clear accountability for training and execution in store in all areas, including business, operations, sales/customer service, and visual merchandising, while also coordinating with Sales Academy to ensure all employees are trained in Retail Standards  
    • Ensure all team members are trained on Foundational and Seasonal Brand and product knowledge in all stores   
    • Ensure timely completion of all recordkeeping associated with applicants, new hires, payroll, performance appraisals, salary reviews, counselling, disciplinary actions and terminations  
    • Produce results under a variety of situations/market conditions and overcomes barriers to the company’s success in compliance with corporate guidelines  
    • Work with the Store Managers to identify and develop select strong performers with potential for growth along the Retail Field Career Ladder   
    • To drive inventory shrinkage strategies and monitoring processes to minimize inventory shrinkage and ensure accurate stock management 
    • To drive a high-performing team by implementing training, development and succession planning initiatives.

    Customer Service Specialist , Africa Export - EM South (Maternity Cover)

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

    • We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to become a member of EM South Africa Export Customer Service Team. This diverse role will see you responsible for variety of tasks primarily managing the customer orderbooks while working closely with key Team members in EM South and in Dubai.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure timely and accurate order entry and release of orders for processing
    • Ensure delivery of monthly / weekly targets
    • Management of customer orderbooks in terms of order intake, outbound processing, issue resolution and reporting in conjunction with internal operational stakeholders.
    • Ensure accuracy of product information, stock availability, pricing, terms, routing, product master, material composition any other specialty handling or services.
    • Responsible for high level communication with Key Account distribution centres: ensuring booking timelines and dates are adhered to.
    • Any unique or relevant processes are delivered against to ensure success. For example: ticketing / ASN bookings etc.
    • Process, coordinate and investigate customer shipment claims, return requests and credit notes following existing Company policies, procedures and programs.
    • Provide assistance and support to internal partners including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations representatives relating to order processing.
    • Support business on delivery of sales and financial targets and objectives.
    • Deliver the highest level of customer service and respond in a timely and efficient manner to all incoming inquiries and correspondence, both internal and external.

    Senior Specialist Real Estate - EM South

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

    • This role maximizes Own Retail profitability across Emerging Markets South by securing and optimizing real estate in line with adidas’ store growth strategy. The role leads site identification, financial viability assessment, and lease negotiations while ensuring strong governance, documentation, and cross-functional alignment with Legal and Finance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and evaluate real estate opportunities through strategic portfolio planning, site visits, defined site‑selection metrics, demographic analysis, and market research to secure optimal locations for the brand.
    • Manage and apply site‑selection metrics and decision criteria, including research analytics, financial performance assessments, and revenue forecast models; consolidate and present recommendations to the Retail Leadership Team (RLT).
    • Lead the negotiation of letters of intent and key commercial lease terms, securing deal structures that are advantageous to the brand through OTLs.
    • Present adidas retail concepts and requirements to prospective landlords and developers, where required.
    • Manage the preparation of site justification and business case documentation in support of capital approval processes (BPM).
    • Continuously evaluate the existing store portfolio to identify opportunities for rent reductions, lease renewals, extensions, or terminations, and lead related negotiations where appropriate.
    • Manage the existing store fleet portfolio, including the submission of turnover reports to landlords and coordination with internal Finance teams.
    • Chair and manage monthly PropCo meetings, ensuring agenda preparation, stakeholder alignment, and timely distribution of meeting minutes.
    • Provide a structured weekly real estate update to the Own Retail team, covering pipeline status, key risks, and decisions required.
    • Ensure all real estate transactions and documentation comply with internal governance standards, delegated authorities, and legal requirements.
    • Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate and auditable lease and portfolio records.

    Manager Credit Control - EM South

    Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

    • The role is responsible for overseeing and driving all Credit Management activities within the local Wholesale business. This includes managing credit risk, safeguarding accounts receivable through proactive risk mitigation, high quality execution of daily operational processes and ensuring strong cash flow management. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Drive timely collection of receivables by proactively managing customer interactions, resolving root causes of payment delays, and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure consistent and sustainable payment performance.
    • Assess & review the credit risk of the customer on regular basis, calculate and suggest the required credit limits
    • Decide on the release of the blocked orders and ensure timely release
    • Provide insight in the development of the accounts receivable position of the customer to sales and finance teams
    • Manage the relationship with customer service, sales, DC operations and other key stakeholders in the business to facilitate and streamline processes
    • Preparation of monthly reconciliations of Key Accounts for review by the Senior Credit Manager 
    • Accurate and timely monthly cash flow forecasting
    • Identify improvement opportunities and drive their implementation
    • Ensure the lowest possible write off for uncollectable balances
    • Calculate the bad debt provision journal and provide insight into the calculation of the required provision for uncollectable balances
    • Play an active role in the credit note and returns handling process
    • Support ongoing projects for the implementation of new technology solutions
    • Support requests from partner Finance department
    • Establish and maintain strong financial controls over the work performed

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Review the monthly customer age analysis to identify overdue balances, assess credit risks and define follow up actions to improve collection performance
    • Review of Customer Reconciliations to confirm alignment between customer and accounting records, investigate variances, escalate unresolved discrepancies, and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly to clear long outstanding items.
    • Review of monthly credit note report to validate the accuracy and appropriateness of issued credit notes, identify trends or unusual activity, and ensure compliance with internal policies and controls.
    • Preparation of an accurate monthly cash flow forecast for accounts receivables
