Description

• Support the development of a sustainable and growing supplier network by participating in supplier selection processes, collaboratively defining business requirements.
• Identify strategic suppliers, recommending candidates for Supplier Development programs, and managing supplier diversity risks and mitigations while fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Strengthen Enaex’s business growth prospects by maintaining a strong market reputation, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements such as BBBEE, meeting local content targets in RSA and other regions, collaborating with organisations that support supplier diversity, supporting the Preferential Procurement Strategy, and compiling and submitting the BBBEE Scorecard as required.
• Manage supplier performance by contributing to the development and agreement of supplier performance standards and scorecards, participating in integrated supplier assessments and performance reviews, developing action plans, identifying the root causes of underperformance, and recommending corrective measures on a regular basis.
• Support supplier accreditation by working closely with the Sasol Supply Chain function in supplier selection and deselection processes, ensuring appropriate representation in deselection forums, and maintaining clear, two-way communication with existing and prospective suppliers.
• Recommend new supply chain strategies and tactics by conducting market research, staying informed on marketplace trends and regulatory changes, and adapting procurement approaches and spending profiles in response to evolving business and market conditions.
• Implement and manage expenditure within budget by understanding cost components, approving spend in alignment with financial policies, and conducting monthly reviews.
• Monitor actual expenditure by analyzing financial reports, identifying anomalies or areas of concern, and executing timely corrective actions.
• Ensure effective implementation of SHE by delivering comprehensive training, completing training programs, and addressing any identified gaps or non-compliance.
• Monitor SHE performance by establishing clear standards, ensuring timely completion of monitoring activities, and resolving issues within defined deadlines.
• Maintain ongoing SHE compliance by reviewing current practices, identifying deviations, and correcting them within established timelines

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent 
• B Com or B Tech in supply chain, procurement, contracts management or similar

Description

• To load and unload the MMU with the correct raw materials by ensuring the loading area is secure and free from hazards, verifying that materials meet required specifications, inspecting the MMU for proper functionality, using appropriate tools and equipment, monitoring material quantities, and following established loading and unloading procedures as required.
• To assist with stock control by understanding and utilizing the inventory control system to accurately label, categorize, and track stock levels, assisting in receiving stock, entering it into the system, ensuring proper storage, conducting stock checks, and reporting any discrepancies to the Site Supervisor.
• To take responsibility for the MMU by regularly cleaning and inspecting the unit, conducting and reporting on basic repairs and maintenance, checking fluid levels, cleaning filters, verifying the functionality of safety features and electrical components, calibrating measurement devices, and performing alignment checks on a monthly basis and as required.
• To maintain the work area and designated site areas by cleaning and decontaminating raw material spillages, ensuring proper disposal of waste, identifying potential work hazards or abnormal conditions, and promptly reporting them to the relevant supervisor.

Description

• Assist with the maintenance and application of the Development Delivery System (DDS™) by supporting the Service Technician in daily inspections, monitoring equipment status, reporting DDS™ emulsion levels underground, and performing minor repairs when required.
• Provide technical support on explosives products to mining personnel through on-the-job training in charging and connecting Enaex explosive products, and by offering guidance on the safe use of related equipment and materials.
• Support machinery and equipment maintenance by acting as the first responder to breakdowns, identifying root causes, performing permitted repairs, adhering to correct repair procedures, and submitting detailed breakdown and maintenance reports.
• Promote a safe and efficient work environment by identifying hazards and risks, conducting pre-task risk assessments, reporting spillages, performing density checks, maintaining records, following up on management recommendations, and submitting monthly or ad hoc reports on site conditions.
• Assist in the safe handling and application of explosives by evaluating product application processes, ensuring compliance with training guidelines, handling, storing, and transporting products safely, and conducting blast surveys in line with designed criteria when required.
• Participate in training sessions and actively seek answers to queries on a daily and as-needed basis.
