• Maintain maximum sales volume at correct discount budgeted margin
• Identify new customers in the allocated area and ensure the proper opening of customer data file
• Call on existing customers in allocated area on a regular basis as per the requirement of (STM)
• Manage customer accounts & provide business management data to customers in order to improve spend
• Keep continuous record of customer contact details and schedule of contacts
• Ensure distribution of MAN related parts through all sectors of the trade and customer base
• Assist with all stock counts, stand by duties and stand in for the Parts Counter Salesman
• Ensure all customer queries are resolve and where necessary reported to the Parts Manager
• Actively promote all parts promotions and sales campaigns
• Promote and sell MAN parts, products to customers and identify areas to improve customer spend
• Maintain and update the STM system as and when required

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate
• Must possess a valid EB drivers licence

Skills:

• Work independently though being a team player
• Good communication (oral and written) interpersonal relations skills
• Work well under pressure and maintain good customer relations
• Pro-active, highly motivated and pay attention to detail
• Customer focused with a results driven approach
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills
• Ability to work on standby

Experience:

• Experience within commercial part sales with the ability to meet sales and margin targets - 3 years (Essential)

Description

• Accurately diagnose faults found and reported on a vehicle (trouble shooting)
• Carry out servicing and repairs to vehicles in an efficient manner
• Conduct road tests on repaired vehicles as and when needed
• Ensure workshop quality, safety and security procedures are adhered to at all times
• Work accurately and timeously to achieve both efficiency and productivity to the required standards
• Report any vehicle faults other than those on the job card
• Conduct servicing according to MAN specifications and service sheet

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate
• N3 and possess a Diesel Mechanic trade test certificate
• Possession of a dual trade is highly advantageous

Skills:

• Pro-active, highly motivated and pay attention to detail
• Work independently though being a team player
• Customer focused with a results driven approach
• Good communication (oral and written) interpersonal relations skills
• EC or EC1 drivers license

Experience:

• Post Trade Certificate experience - 5 years
• MAN and / or VW heavy commercial vehicle - 3 years
• MAN CATS 3 - 1 year

Description

• Physically receive local and international shipments
• Record quantities and stock received in ERP system
• Scan part numbers of staged stock and place onto binning trolleys
• Bin stage stock
• Scan part numbers of stock on binning trolleys and confirm GRV quantity to bin locations
• Physically move stock on binning trolleys to respective bin locations
• Physically bin stock
• Relabel selected stock
• Move damaged stock to quarantine area
• Perform quality check, report and reject damaged stock
• Check stock against shipment documentation
• Offload cargo and physically stage stock

• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate (Essential)

• Computer Literate
