    Associate

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • You'll work in teams of typically 3 - 5 consultants to identify, and oftentimes implement, potential solutions for a specific client problem or challenge. Together, you will help clients make lasting improvements to their performance and realize their most important goals.
    • Over the course of each project, you will gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop and communicate recommendations.
    • You'll also present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members. In some cases, you will be asked to travel to your client site.

    Associate Director, Client Service Risk, EEMA

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • In this role you will advise Partners and the CSRC on how to manage potential risks on higher-risk client engagements and publications in EEMA.
    • You will provide advice on risk related to the firm’s reach and relevance activities, as well as other use of name questions, in collaboration with firm Communications colleagues. You will lead and participate in global risk policy reviews; build process for the policy pilots, including approach and structure, as well as general guidelines.
    • You will integrate advice from across firm functions (including Communications, Legal, and Risk) and “cells”(practices, offices, new delivery models) to provide counsel on multi-faceted issues. 
    • The role requires excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and written and oral communication. It needs distinctive interpersonal and collaborative skills, together with exceptional integrity and judgment.
    • The colleague should be perceived in all activities as a peer adviser to Partners and an ambassador for the CSRC’s dual mission of enabling client service while managing risks to the firm.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Top academic credentials and demonstrated intellectual curiosity through professional training, advanced degree, or professional impact
    • 10+ years’ professional experience in legal, consulting, risk, compliance or other professional services experience
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills – working on complex, sensitive, time-critical issues, quickly getting up to speed on unfamiliar topics
    • Strong personal presence and credibility, with the ability to work across all levels of seniority and geographies, cultivating trust-based, peer-counselor relationships
    • Operates independently and demonstrates excellent judgment and maturity across a wide range of topics and situations
    • Manages complex, strategic relationships with senior leaders within and outside of the cell; effectively operationalizes complex priorities across stakeholders to drive impact
    • Highly resilient, with an action-oriented style; comfort and credibility in challenging discussions with senior colleagues, balancing robustness, persistence, flexibility, humility, tact, and calmness under pressure
    • An affinity and abiding interest for risk and governance issues able to navigate difficult situations or decisions with maturity and confidence as a values-based leader
    • Leads in a respectful, inclusive, and sustainable way; holds individuals accountable for results while ensuring day-to-day development focus
    • Outstanding English written and oral communication skills, including clear and concise writing and editorial skills, with strong personal presence and credibility
