    Chief Financial Officer

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning and Management:

    • Contribute towards the development, implementation and monitoring of the OBP organisational strategy and objectives.
    • Develop, implement and monitor an operations strategy for the division that is directly aligned with the organisational strategic objectives.  
    • Create, communicate and implement a business plan that will enable the achievement of the divisional strategy.  
    • Develop, implement, monitor and review OBP divisional policies and procedures as required.  
    • Research area of focus and advise stakeholders on industry best practice policy and procedure standards and measures.  
    • Ensure the divisional policies and procedures are aligned to the overall OBP policies and procedures.

    Financial Management and Reporting:

    • Provide strategic input and advice to the CEO and Board on the formulation of divisional budgets and forecasts.  
    • Lead the formulation of annual budgets on behalf of the division for CEO approval.
    • Oversee the division’s relevant departmental budgets to ensure alignment to the organisation’s revenue and efficiency objectives.
    • Ensure the costs are contained while maintaining high levels of impact and performance.
    • Lead the development of best practices to achieve the larger Operational financial goals.  
    • Responsible for overseeing that all organisational assets are managed and maintained to the company’s standards. 
    • Lead the compilation and presentation of annual financial statements.  
    • Present company results to the Board, Parliament and stakeholders according to the relevant frameworks.

    • Lead the financial Planning and Budgeting for the OBP and set budgetary guidelines.  
    • Liaise with shareholders and stakeholders i.e. Department of Agriculture, National Treasury and the Parliamentary Agricultural Portfolio Committee in respect of corporate plans, budgets, financial forecasts, borrowing plans and annual financial reports.  
    • Ensure the design, implementation and maintenance of a sound system of control to safeguard company assets. 
    • Ensure the implementing audit recommendations to minimise financial and business risk. 
    • Formulate and develop financial policies in compliance with accounting principles and other legislative requirements (e.g. treasury regulations) to support the business strategy.  
    • Ensure that the accounting system is managed and controlled. 
    • Ensure that the accounting system complies with reporting standards and that relevant access to users is in place. 
    • Lead the management and provision of Supply Chain Management. 
    • Lead expenditure management. 
    • Lead the provision of Asset Management.

    Required Experience

    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience and extensive skills in Project and product
    • Management with proven track record of successfully implementing projects
    • (National or multi-national Entity/Company).

    Information Security Test Analyst

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Must have an information technology-related diploma or degree; and professional security/ testing certification (e.g., Security+, CEH, OSCP, ISTQB) and minimum of 4 years’ experience as an Information Security Test Analyst.
    • Create and execute test cases based on the approved security requirements and application functionality.

    • Post implementation testing and go-live support as well as assist in security production support issues and queries.
    • Act as a single point of contact for the security testing matters, investigating issues to determine if they are bugs, errors, vulnerabilities or configuration matters.
    • Recommend improvements to enhance the overall security posture within the company.
    • Stay up to date with the latest and emerging security trends, tools, and technologies to enhance testing approach.
    • Provide any other relevant or related information security services to the company as requested from time-to-time by the senior management
    • Evidence that the resource to be allocated to the AGSA has certification in the information security/ testing field (e.g., Security+, CEH, OSCP, ISTQB). AGSA reserves the right to confirm the authenticity of the certificate submitted.

    Administrator: Backup and Continuity

    Key Performance Areas:

    Backup Management:

    • Monitor and optimize storage and backup performance to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Troubleshoot storage and backup related issues and provide resolution in a timely manner
    • Maintain the storage and backup environment to ensure that it is secure, reliable, and scalable.
    • Responding to incidents should there be a backlog, conduct preliminary investigations and provide possible temporary and/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated
    • Provide timely status updates to relevant parties.

    • Stay current with emerging technologies and make recommendations for incorporating new solutions into the organization's storage and backup environment.

    • Stay current with new cloud technologies and features and make recommendations for incorporating them into the monitoring system.
    • Ensure that the monitoring system supports cloud-based applications and services, such as AWS and Azure.

    Maintain Documented Standards, Processes and Procedures for the Team:

    • Maintain up-to-date written documentation and policies related to the organization’s business activities. Maintain comprehensive documentation of the storage and backup infrastructure, including configuration, policies, and procedures.
    • Ensure a compliance framework is maintained in accordance with required standards.
    • Provide administrative support to the ERP team in accordance with company policies and procedures.

    Reporting:

    • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulation reports.
    • Contribute to the development of functional reporting systems, for management, project or performance reporting.

    Stakeholder Management

    • Assist with inquiries and requests for information from both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Contribute to the maintenance of relationships service providers.

    Qualifications and Experience
