    Engineer Modification Small Projects - Richards Bay

    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    • Provide input into the Projects portfolio and related budgets, plans and schedules
    • Develop scope , budget and schedule for all allocated projects in your Portfolio
    • Project manage the allocated approved Projects to the defined scope, budget, schedule, standards, and specifications and in accordance with relevant processes and standards for the Asset / Operation (e.g. the South 32 Small Project Management Framework);
    • Ensure that the Planning and execution of any modifications and small projects has been scheduled in alignment with S32 Work Management Processes.
    • Manage the handover to the Operation / client and ensure all relevant change control documentation has been updated to as-built status and provided to the Standards & Change Control sub-function.
    •  Ensure relevant 1SAP Master Data Changes are initiated and operating procedures are updated where required.

    ABOUT YOU:

    You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

    • Minimum 3 years Experience in an  Engineering Capital Project Management in Heavy Industry is essential;
    • Working experience with Microsoft Projects and SAP is essential;
    • In depth knowledge of procedures and concepts within engineering functional area is essential;
    • Experience in managing stakeholders, clients, consultants, contractor partners is essential;
    • In Depth understanding of Engineering Designs, Drawings and Construction regulations and Construction Management is essential.

    Qualifications for this role are:

    Superintendent Modification Small Projects - Richards Bay

    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    • Provide input into the Modifications and Small Projects portfolio and related budgets, plans and schedules;

    Supervisor Production CB - South32 , Richards Bay

    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    • Provide day-to-day supervision, expertise and direction to a Production team within an operation area to ensure delivery against plans;
    • Supervise and lead the execution of the production plan in order to achieve established performance targets;
    • Ensure Production employees and contractors adhere to work standards, are competent, and understand the purpose and functionality of critical controls relevant to their work;
    • Provide input into production or logistics strategies, budgets, and plans as well as the improvement of work management processes and critical controls for material risks;

    Controller Maintenance (Fixed Term Contract) - Richards Bay

    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    • Facilitate the weekly prioritisation and the resource levelling meetings to ensure alignment of all work management activities to production or other operational plans;
    • Create and plan SAP work orders that enable effective deployment of work management resources, including personnel, service providers and materials;
    • Develop and communicate accurate weekly work schedules reflecting all work management activities within budget for cost and vendor targets, ensuring that they are adequately resource levelled and aligned to the corresponding 12-week planning window;
    • Managing the ordering and delivery of materials for the planned work;
    • Request work management master data changes as required, based on equipment strategy reviews, failure analysis and identified quality errors;
    • Develop secondary task lists for relevant reoccurring work to support effective planning and safe execution;
    • Execute the planning and scheduling functions and requirements for Shared Resource Work teams, internal and external;
    • Conduct SAP training / coaching of maintenance departments and other sub functions;

    • Assist Supervisor Maintenance with the re-scheduling of planned maintenance activities; cost and vendor number forecast and feedback;
    • Identify system generated work orders that must be cancelled and not to be executed to the Specialist Analysis and Improvement;

    ABOUT YOU:

    You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in heavy industry;
    • Working experience on SAP is essential;
    • Experience in work management is advantageous;
    • Working experience on MS Projects is advantageous.

    Qualifications for this role are:

    •  N6 National Technical Diploma with a valid Trade Test.

    Administrator Data Capture - Richards Bay

    Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

    • Prepare source documents by compiling and sorting information according to specific instructions provided;
    • Locate and correct any visible data errors by confirming its integrity with supervisors;
    • Capture information into predesignated databases or systems and double check information to make sure it has been accurately punched in.;
