    Learner Development Administrator (LDA)

    A vacancy exists at TALA for a Learner Development Administrator (LDA). The incumbent will be a team member of the Learner Support Centre (LSC) and will play a vital role in the support functions for the Academy. TALA provides training to the dealer network and that requires an efficient and professional LSC to ensure adherence and compliance to a broad range of legislative and best practice requirements. The LDA will perform the administrative tasks according to processes defined in the QMS and will support with a variety of projects to ensure the ultimate success of the Academy.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Administration:
    • Support with updating of QMS, SOP’s.
    • Commercial activities

    Reports

    • Record keeping and information management.
    • Learner Management System administration (Building of prospectus, learner activations, learner support diary, billing, events, calendar)
    • Support with distribution of training inventory across BNLE countries
    • Database maintenance

    Customer Services:       

    • Customer services liaison, problem and query resolution and feedback.
    • Service provider liaison and adherence to SLA
    • Events Co-ordination / Facilities:             
    • Perform project plan activities related to function.
    • Tracking and feedback on project activities
    • Participate in PDCA activities.
    • Establish and maintain SOP’s for facilities.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • NQF level 5 - 240 credits or above qualification ETD or related environment.

    Knowledge and experience -

    • Administration, training administration and shared services process
    • ETD Legislation and compliance
    • TSAM & TALA policies and procedures
    • Experience in customer service role.
    • PC literacy (Advanced Excel, MS Projects and SAP/SAP Concur)

    Specialist HR Organisational Design (6 Months FTC) X2

    PURPOSE:

    • To compare/evaluate organisational structures, by benchmarking and then design for TSAM an agile structure that enables and drive competitiveness. Provide a range of internal consultation services to the various Groups, directed at improving business results through organization design, development, and effectiveness initiatives.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Support TSAM groups with organisational redesign, ideal structures and the formulation of roadmaps that will deliver competitiveness.
    • Lead BMC, analyse current situation and evaluate business structures to for each group.
    • Contribute to the potential restructuring of departments to increase efficiency and align activities with business objectives.
    • Serve as a strategic partner in driving organization change management and business optimization projects.
    • Design, introduce and implement initiatives which address future strategic requirements of the business.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • NQF 6 qualification (360 credits) in Industrial Psychology or Human Resource.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in OD Role
    • Advanced Computer Literacy ( MS Office)
    • Strong communication
    • Project management
    • Exposure to human capital management system

    Instructor Maintenance Learnership (12 months FTC)

    PURPOSE:

    • To assist in fulfilling the necessary requirement within the Technical Training Centre Department of Motorised area, to meet the Technical Training Department K.P.I’s and Company’s Training objectives by providing facilitation, assessing and moderation of learners to ensure a facility that enables the production of vehicles of a high-quality standard in a cost-effective manner. To be an effective Technical Expert with all –round Technical Training and plant maintenance knowledge and basic understanding of all modules presented at Technical Training. 

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    • Identify Toyota Training needs
    • Identify TETA Training needs
    • Facilitation of operators as per unit standards requirements
    • Assessing of operators as per unit standard assessment criteria
    • Moderation of operators as per moderation procedures
    • Evaluation of module content as per TETA’s requirements
    • Development of curriculum\modules as per TETA aligned requirements Training Logbooks\Course reports
    • Facilitation of all modules presented at Technical Training Centre (Motorised Division) by cross skilling
    • Assessment of all modules presented at Technical Training Centre (Motorised Division) by cross skilling
    • Moderation of all modules presented at Technical Training Centre (Motorised Division) by cross skilling
    • Training and development of staff
    • Compliance of loading schedule, in terms of the manpower allocation
    • Communication to staff
    • Motorised various unit standards
    • Safety compliance
    • ISO 14001/9000 compliance
    • Quality management system
    • Compliance to TETA\ DOL requirements
    • Budget / Cost Down Management controls of Motorised Area
    • Ensure training and skills development are done in plant

    • Management of lifting equipment to ensure cost reduction
    • Management of stores control

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • NQF Level 4
    • AMIC in Production essential
    • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a technical training environment, preferably within the motorised or automotive sector

    • Registered Facilitator
    • Registered Assessor
    • Registered Moderator
    • TETA Accreditation
    • Computer literacy (MS Office)
    • Strong communication and organisational skills
