    Warehouse Team Lead - JHB

    Your Role:

    • Your journey begins with overseeing the ready-for-sale process, ensuring that each phone is meticulously checked and locked on the system before dispatch. You will lead a team of warehouse assistants, guiding them through the intricacies of the process and resolving any issues that arise along the way.
    • But your role goes beyond just managing the process. You will be the master of inventory management, conducting monthly stock counts and reconciling physical stock levels with our inventory records.     Legal Counsel - Data Privacy - JHB

    What you will do:

    • You will undertake privacy program remediation activities, conduct data audits to ensure compliance and provide advice on the impact of data protection efforts.
    • You will conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and undertake the assessments following data privacy laws.
    • You will identify areas of non or partial compliance with privacy law and rectify any issues.
    • You will support implementation of essential elements of the Data Protection legislation, such as the principles of data processing, data subjects' rights, data protection by design and by default, records of processing activities, security of processing, and notification and communication of data breaches.
    • You will review our policies following Data Protection Regulation and codes of practice.
    • You will maintain comprehensive records of all data processing activities conducted by our company, including the purposes of all processing activities.
    • You will develop guidelines and templates clauses and contracts for management of several team members and relationships relating to processing of personally identifiable information.
    • You will raise awareness, brainstorm internal communications and training plans and provide data protection advice and support for members of staff.
    • You will develop external communication plan for privacy awareness for third parties and partners.
    • You will support in management and administration of privacy software and data incident response and data breach notification procedures.
    • You will monitor industry best practice and trends for privacy and consumer protection to keep training material up to date.
    • You will identify and use opportunities to improve the quality of data privacy processes and standards.
    • Promote a culture of data protection compliance across all units of the organization and suppliers involved in processing personal data.
    • Support special projects for our company, including privacy certification, audits, new market expansion, legal & privacy compliance.
    • Help with data privacy and consumer protection related due diligence, queries for transactions and from team members.

    Your application should include:

    • Your experience conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and undertake the assessments following data privacy laws.
    • Your experience with data processing operations, including information systems, data security and data protection needs.
    • Your experience helping with data privacy and consumer protection related due diligence, queries for transactions and from team members.
    • Any multijurisdictional data privacy compliance experience

    Who we are looking for:

    • Over five (5) years' experience working in data protection or privacy compliance.
    • A Qualified lawyer in line with your country requirements.
    • Experience running data privacy operations including data privacy impact assessments, transfer impact assessments, vendor assessments, risk management.
    • Experience with data processing operations, including information systems, data security and data protection needs.
    • Expertise on Data Protection laws across M-KOPA markets.
    • Privacy Related Professional certification (CIPP, CIPT, PECB IEC/ISO 27001, 27701 Implementer or Auditor) an added advantage.

    Senior Associate - Internal Audit - JHB

    Responsibilities

    • You will help us implement the internal audit plan by conducting audits of processes to ensure compliance with our procedures.
    • You will obtain and review documents, reports, and other relevant data to gather evidence for audits. This will involve interviewing witnesses or team members to gather audit evidence.
    • You will analyze data, determine findings, and create recommendation actions.
    • You will prepare detailed and accurate audit reports outlining recommendations.
    • You will follow up with management on the implementation of corrective actions from the audit findings.
    • You will perform any other responsibilities related to the job responsibility as may be assigned.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in social sciences/ Law/ Finance/Accounting or related fields from a recognized university.
    • ACCA/CPA/CIA/CISA/certification or the equivalent qualification.
    • Participation in investigation training courses.
    • Minimum of 5 Years of experience conducting audits.
    • Experience working in an audit firm is an added advantage.

    Skills

    • Able to be keen, attentive, and truthful.
    • Excellent drafting and reporting skills, including interviewing/good skills in communication.
    • Team player with good skills in interpersonal relations.
    • Advanced level of Microsoft Suites, including Excel (can perform complex functions) use and analysis.
    • Be able to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures and levels in a global organization.
    • Confidential when handling sensitive information
    • Knowledge of accounting systems.
    • Knowledge of professional standards.

    Sales Executive - Meadowlands

    Autonomy

    • This role would allow you to autonomously recruit, manage, and coach a field-based team of Direct Sales Representatives to meet and surpass the set targets following our business goals. You would also be monitoring and evaluating their performance to ensure they meet the right standards.
    • To achieve this, it would be important to have good coaching, leadership and sales management experience that would enable you to plan and organize your team well.

    Inventory Management

    • You would oversee allocation of M-KOPA sales products and devices to your direct sales force team, managing their inventory and resolving audit recommendations following the set audit resolution guidelines.

    Background

    • Having a background in sales or sales management, particularly dealing with microfinance, mobile money, FMCG or financial services would make you a good fit for the role.
    • Additionally, certification in business administration, marketing or related field with fluency in the local languages and excellent sales and negotiation skills would be even more fitting.
