    Stores Administrator

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Generate Catalogue purchase requests on Fraxion.
    • Generate Purchase requests on Fraxion
    • Forward all Purchase Orders received from Procurement Department to relevant suppliers.
    • Liaise with suppliers on a daily basis on all outstanding orders and partly supplied orders.
    • Process invoices on Fraxion
    • Verify and process on Fraxion the monthly invoice for staff transport
    • Filing
    • Capture daily diesel usage
    • Conduct daily cycle counts and year-end stock takes
    • Scan sick certificates and email to Group Stores Manager for processing
    • Liaise with HR to coordinate departmental training and skills development
    • Notify HR daily on monthly employees absenteeism
    • Prepared to work overtime when required
    • Perform any other duties assigned to you

    • Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Acta

    General Assistant – Montague Gardens Branch

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The General Assistant (GA) will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:

    • Efficiently offloading all materials from customer bins, crates, trolleys, bakkies, trucks etc.
    • Accurately sorting materials/commodities for relocation to stock stations/areas in the yard at all times
    • Ensure that trucks are properly packed and loaded and that no material is compromised or hanging over the truck when required to do so
    • Ensure that all materials are removed from the scale before commencing next transaction at all times
    • Assist with preparing and packing bale bags for stock taking when required to do so.
    • Liaise and assist branch manager with various ad hoc duties i.e. stock taking etc. when required
    • Identify any stolen or inferior material/commodities to the branch manager immediately at all times

    QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE

    • A minimum Grade 12 certificate.
    • 2-3 years applicable working experience

    Scale Buyer – Montague Gardens Branch

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Ensure that you thoroughly inspect scrap metal to be purchased and display same openly for photographing
    • Ensure that the requirements of the Second-hand Goods Act are complied with when buying by accurately recording all information required under the Act
    • Ensure that captured information and photographs is correct
    • Sorting and grading of ferrous and non-ferrous material
    • Accurately weigh customers metals for purchase
    • Identifying stolen and inferior material and report same to management immediately
    • Accurately updating customer information
    • Ensure metal purchased is secured immediately after purchased and not re-purchased

    Applicants must have the following qualifying criteria:

    • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Computer proficiency: packages required: MS Word, Excel
    • Good numeracy skills
    • Able to liaise professionally with customers, suppliers & colleagues
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to work quickly and under pressure
    • An excellent knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals

    HR Practitioner - Elandsfontein

    Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Recruitment: Manage recruitment process by attracting top talent, processes will include assessing applications, interviewing applicants, conduct skills tests, prepare reports and make recommendations to management on staff appointments
    • Personnel Administration: Maintain and manage the personal records of employees on matters such as wages, leave and training, and prepare associated management reports
    • Training and Development: Assess organisational needs and individual training needs together with Training and Development team, for planning and implementing skills development within the organisation
    • Organisational Development: Use management information systems to record, maintain, plan and manage the organisation's human resources

    Qualifying Criteria:

    • Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management
    • 5-8 years’ experience in the Human Resources Field
    • Excellent planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills on all levels
    • Confidentiality, tact and discretion essential when dealing with people
    • Computer Literacy viz. Microsoft Office Suit
    • Excellent Professional and interpersonal Skills
    • Ability to work within a team and independently
    • Ability to multi-task and manage demanding workload in a pressurised environment
    • Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to think on your feet
