    Officer: Graphic Design

    Description

    • Design and develop marketing materials
    • High-quality, visually appealing, and brand-aligned materials are delivered on time.
    • Maintain brand consistency across all designs
    • All designs adhere to the organisation’s corporate identity and enhance brand recognition
    • Create digital content for social media and online platforms
    • Engaging, shareable content that increases audience engagement and visibility
    • Support event branding and visual communication
    • Professional event collateral (banners, presentations, signage) that enhance event impact
    • Manage print and production processes
    • Timely delivery of high-quality printed materials with optimal cost efficiency
    • Ensure digital accessibility and innovation
    • Designs are optimised for different digital formats, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness

    Requirements

    • A National Senior Certificate, at a minimum NQF 4
    • A National Diploma or equivalent qualification (NQF level 6) in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design, branding, and visual storytelling within a corporate, public relations, or marketing environment.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro) or equivalent design tools.
    • Experience in motion graphics and video editing is advantageous

    Senior Officer: SDP Accreditation

    Description

    SDP Accreditation

    • Receive confirmed allocation in preparation of a site visit
    • Conduct site visits to recommend providers for accreditation and or provide guidance and support to the SDP regarding the accreditation process, within the set turnaround time of 90 working days.
    • Follow up on remediation requirements
    • Submit comprehensive reports to the manager in line with the SoP and requirements by the QCTO.
    • Timely response to QCTO requests to conduct site visits.
    • Compile a tracking data base of sites visited.
    • Quality assured the data base and keep to turnaround time
    • Maintain accurate records of site visits conducted.
    • Compliant data control management
    • Conduct evaluation in accordance to the curriculum documents and give timely notification of remediation requirements

     Stakeholder Engagement

    • Collaborate with educational institutions, training providers, industry representatives, and government agencies to promote best practices in skills curriculum implementation.
    • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and forums to provide feedback and guidance on curricular development and enhancements.
    • Act as a liaison between various stakeholders to ensure alignment of skills development programs with market needs.
    • Organize and deliver training programs for skills development practitioners focused on curriculum delivery techniques and best practices.
    • Support continuous professional development initiatives for SDPs through workshops and other training events

    Achievement of Work Plans

    • Execute work plans and drive the evidence collection in real time.
    • Produce reports against the implementation of work plans.
    • Respond to audit findings with complete evidence, on time.
    • Implement documented data management practices.
    • Comply to policies and procedures in the unit
    • % of work targets achieved.
    • Timely submission of reports.
    • Timely response to audit findings (within # days).
    • % accuracy of data.
    • % compliance with policies, procedures and standards.
    • Document management practices implemented.
    • Manage feedback on action plans in a monthly report.

    Management Support

    • By identifying skill gaps or training needs among the SDPs, the senior officer can help facilitate professional development initiatives. This ensures that staff are well-equipped to deliver the monitoring effectively
    • The senior officer acts as a liaison between the managerial teams, and other stakeholders
    • The senior officer must ensure that in the absence of the manager, he/she attends meetings, compiles and submits reports and escalate any urgent matters to the senior manager
    • Continuous capacitation of employees will ensure quality monitoring and reporting.
    • This helps ensure that all parties are aligned and that the monitoring and reporting meet external standards and expectations.
    • This ensures continuity of business processes

    Requirements

    • National Senior Certificate, at a minimum NQF 4
    • National Diploma in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, at a minimum of NQF 6.
    • At least 3 years of experience in the education, training and development sector, of which 1 year with supervisory experience.
