What You'll Do:

• Manage the full debtors function: processing, reconciling, and following up on accounts
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records
• Assist with creditors processing, reconciliations, and supplier queries
• Support general bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries and cashbook management
• Collaborate with the finance team on monthly reporting and audits
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies

What You Need to Succeed:

• Proven experience as a Debtors Clerk or similar finance role
• Strong knowledge of both Debtors and Creditors functions
• Experience with general bookkeeping and financial administration
• Familiarity with commonly used debtors systems and accounting software (e.g. OMNI, Pastel, SAP, Syspro, QuickBooks, or similar)
• Strong Excel skills and an eye for detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• A team player with a proactive, solutions-focused attitude

Qualifications:

• Minimum Matric with Accounting
• A tertiary qualification in Finance, Bookkeeping, or Accounting will be advantageous

Requirements:

• Education: Tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Production Management, or a related field
• Experience: 3–5 years in nursery production or a similar operational role

• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and leading successful teams.
• Strong knowledge of the used car market and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and clear criminal record.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise repair technicians and allocate tasks accordingly
• Inspect and test damaged or faulty equipment
• Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards
• Manage inventory of parts and equipment
• Communicate with clients to understand their repair needs and provide updates
• Train new technicians on repair techniques and safety procedures
• Traveling to clients all around Durban
• Ensure company vehicle is neat and taken care of.
