    Senior Manager Stakeholder Relations Management

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • Policy, agreements and strategic engagements with Government and SADC partners and identified international organisations.
    • Managing key SADC/international co-operative and consultative relationships.
    • Developing/managing strategic partnerships to support business development initiatives to strengthen/improve the Agency’s revenue stream.
    • Managing key Government co-operative and consultative relationships.
    • Reporting.
    • General management business processes.

    TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

    (Knowledge/Systems/Regulations)

    • Knowledge and understanding of Government and International Relations processes, planning and programmes.
    • Knowledge of Cross-Border Road Transport Act and SADC Protocols on Transport, Communication and Meteorology.
    • Diplomatic relations.
    • Business management principals.
    • Financial management principals.
    • Project management principals.
    • Stakeholder management principals.
    • Performance management principals.
    • Statutory requirements e.g. PMFA, Labour Relations.
    • Operational policies and procedures.
    • Knowledge of Government Protocols/Procedures.

    Requirements

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    • NQF Level 7 Tertiary qualification in transport related discipline or Commerce or International Relations or Public Administration or equivalent or related qualification.
    • Relevant Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.

    Minimum Required Experience:

    • Ten (10) years relevant experience, and
    • Five (5) years middle management experience.

    Senior Manager: Business Development & Transformation

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

     The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
    • Lead the formation of strategic partnerships, increased revenue and commercialisation of business process
    • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
    • Implementation and management of the Agency’s Training Academy
    • Drive alignment of overall transformation with the business strategy
    • Business continuity advisory
    • CSI

     COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

    •  Strategic Planning and reporting.
    • Knowledge of government and SADC protocols.
    • Ability to build Inter-relationship between the Agency and external stakeholders.
    • Knowledge and application of project management
    • Knowledge of SADC Political and economic environment
    • Knowledge SADC protocols and communication channels
    • Advanced auditing, management and leadership skills

    Requirements

    Formal Qualifications

    • A degree or NQF level 7 qualification in Business Management, Economics, marketing or Commerce or related discipline.
    • Relevant Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Ten (10) years relevant experience in Business Development and Transformation Agenda, and
    • Five (5) years at middle management level.

    Senior Manager Operator Relations & Industry Development

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • Development of the cross-border road transport industry.
    • Development of SMMEs in the cross-border road transport.
    • Development of industry stakeholder partnerships.
    • Empower the cross-border road transport industry to maximise business opportunities.
    • Development of cross-border corridors.
    • Entrepreneurship and capacity building for SMMEs.
    • To promote consultative and strengthening relationships and structures with cross-border operators.
    • Facilitate resolution of passenger operators conflict, operator disputes, and operator complaints.
    • Provide value added support services to passenger operators such as governance support.
    • Management of resources and people development.

    COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

    • Business development principles.
    •  Financial management.
    • Operational policies and procedures.
    • Performance management principles
    • Project Management.
    • Stakeholder Management Principles.
    • Cross-Border Road Transport Act.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Formal Qualifications:

    • A degree or NQF level 7 qualification in Transport / Commerce/ business development/ business management / economic development or related discipline.
    • Postgraduate NQF level 8 qualification in related discipline will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Ten (10) years of working experience in operator relations and industry development, and
    • Five (5) years at middle management level.
