    Field Contracts Specialist

    Job Objectives

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and the internal sales team through open, transparent communication and a customer-centric approach.
    • Manage and analyse customer contract portfolios to identify risks and opportunities and make data- driven recommendations to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
    • Draft, revise, and negotiate contract quotations, restructures, and extension options in collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers.
    • Present proposed contractual improvements or restructuring to both customers and management, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals.
    • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Claims, Legal, Finance, Sales Operations) to ensure seamless implementation of contract changes and resolution of portfolio concerns.
    • Reporting and corrective actions on all Uptime product offerings, ensuring proactive administration and adherence to contractual obligations.
    • Manage the administration of Uptime Units to ensure customer value delivery.

    Who are you?

    Qualifications & Job experience

    Diploma or Degree in:

    • Business Administration.
    • Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
    • Finance or Accounting.
    • Transport Management.
    • Marketing or Sales.
    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Specialist / analytical role, preferably in an after-sales or service contracts Environment.
    • Microsoft Office.

    MD South Africa

    Job Objectives

    • Execute VFS strategy and drive realization of the VFS South Africa business plan in support of Volvo Group product sales.
    • Represents VFS in local Country Management Team (CMT) of Business Areas (BA).
    • Systematically manages deliveries, finance penetration, managed assets, operating income, expenses, investments, and headcount to ensure business performance.
    • Proactively identifies and drives initiatives that support BA’s in meeting their market share objectives.

    Qualifications & Job Experience

    • University degree in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in captive financing, preferably in equipment leasing. Profit and Loss responsibility a plus.
    • Experience working in the commercial vehicle, construction equipment or asset finance industry preferred.
    • Knowledge of working through a dealer distribution network a plus.
    • Having thorough knowledge or experience of credit underwriting.
    • Previous working experience in an international environment preferred.
    • A seasoned and mature leader.
    • Strong business and financial acumen, results-orientated, building the foundations for long term business success and proven record in achieving business results.
    • Ability to understand, assess and manage credit, financial and business risks.
    • Understand and manage the regulatory, compliance and internal requirements of the local market.

    Diesel Technician

    Job Objectives:

    • Fault-finding and diagnosis on Volvo Products by interpreting product “under performance” and/or failure.
    • Interpret and implement information in Volvo Manual and Service Literature.
    • By following directives provided in Workshop Manuals, produce work of Volvo acceptable standards.
    • Follow repair, maintenance instructions and specifications as per the manual.
    • Ensure excellence in customer service delivery through meticulously following procedures/processes.
    • Provide comprehensive and accurate reports on diagnosis, assessment of component/part, failures, observations, actions and recommendations.
    • Follow procedures for breakdown work:
    • Liaise with driver before responding to customer breakdowns;

    Senior Accountant (Project)

    Job Objectives

    • Manage and support a team of financial accountants.
    • Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
    • Overall responsible for the monthly reporting to the Volvo Group.
    • Support stakeholders across the organisation through the entire closing process and accounting inquiries.
    • Coordinate and facilitate external audits for the legal entity.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS and financial policies and procedures (FPP).
    • Drive daily control and monitor all relevant accounting processes and recommend performance improvements, where needed.
    • Monthly report financial performance to the Chief Financial Officer and the Director of FCA.
    • Continuously monitor movements in high-risk financial statement items.
    • Timeously approve and review all balance sheet reconciliations (BSR).
    • Any other duties reasonably assigned by your manager.

    Qualifications & Job Experience

    • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA).
    • 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
    • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
    • Experience presenting and explaining complex information to stakeholders.
    • Experience managing a team of accountants.

    • Maximum experience in vehicle/Used truck sales.
    • Knowledge of local and international compliance requirements.
    • Code EC (14).
    • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
    • Additional languages an advantage.
    • Formal qualification in sales and marketing (essential).    
    • Technical diploma (desirable).
    • 5 - 8 Years sales experience, preferably commercial truck sales.
