    Storeman - Fixed Term Contract - Umbogintwini

    Job Objectives:

    • Receive and unpack the parts from the containers.
    • Linefeed the unpacked material according to various stages/PA.
    • Inform the TL of any deviations while doing the unpacking of parts from cases.
    • Carry out 5S and housekeeping standards in your area.
    • Adheres to safe working practices at all times.
    • To carry out other tasks as requested from time to time.
    • Participate and contribute in all other Logistics related activities.
    • From time to time, you may be requested to work overtime.

    Qualification & Job Experience

    •  Matric/Grade 12.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft excel will be advantageous.
    • Relevant or similar experience from the automotive industry will have an added advantage.

    Job Knowledge

    • Ability to use basic counting skills.
    • Computer skills (Basic).
    • Ability to read and write.

    Diesel Technician - New Castle

    Job Objectives:

    • Fault-finding and diagnosis on Volvo Products by interpreting product “under performance” and/or failure.
    • Interpret and implement information in Volvo Manual and Service Literature.
    • By following directives provided in Workshop Manuals, produce work of Volvo acceptable standards.
    • Follow repair, maintenance instructions and specifications as per the manual.
    • Ensure excellence in customer service delivery through meticulously following procedures/processes.
    • Provide comprehensive and accurate reports on diagnosis, assessment of component/part, failures, observations, actions and recommendations.
    • Follow procedures for breakdown work:
    • Liaise with driver before responding to customer breakdowns;
    • Ensure the correct documentation is in place and accurately completed before submission.
    • Compliance to ISO 9001 and other Safety standards.

    Qualification & Job Experience

    • Matric/N3.
    • Trade Test Certificate - Qualified Diesel Mechanic.
    • 3 years Dealership experience in maintenance and repairs of heavy commercial vehicles.

    Parts Salesman - Kimberley

    Job Objectives:

    • Client liaison – Build good relationship between Company and Customer
    • Ensure zero customer complaints.
    • Receive sales order from client.
    • Timeous processing of parts sales.
    • Preparation of quotes and invoices.
    • Quotes, customer orders & invoices are correctly filed at all times.
    • Ordering urgent orders from central warehouse.
    • Invoice register up to date at all times.
    • Distributing back order parts to relevant customer.
    • Parts catalogue up to date at all times.
    • Monitoring delivery and collection of parts to customers.
    • Monitoring picking of customer invoices.
    • Follow up on V.O.R orders from customers and give feedback.
    • Filing of quotes, customer orders and invoices.
    • Control of invoice register.
    • Assisting with stock take procedures.
    • Overtime and Standby.
    • Updating and maintenance on all Parts Catalogues.
    • Achieve Sales Targets/ KPIs.
    • Assisting in all parts operations where requested.
    • Create and maintain Customer Base.
    • Daily follow-up on customers.
    • Obtaining of new customers.
    • Compliance to ISO 9001 and Safety
    • All process in your area of responsibility are following ISO standard.
    • Ensure the safety process are followed.
    • Ensure the Safety Act and Regulation is adhered to.
    • Provide assistance to Warehouse Supervisor/Controller when required.
    • Perform costing of job cards.

    • To meet the set business goals within the Department.
    • Ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

    • To raise awareness of the Volvo brand and promote the brand image.
    • The job holder can expect adequate resources, objectives, professional guidance and support.

    Qualification & Job Experience

    • Matric.
    • Computer Literate.
    • Technical background would be an advantage.
    • Previous experience in a Parts Retail environment.
