    Trade Marketing Coordinator

    Job Description

    • At Core, we don’t just deliver technology — we create world-class retail experiences. We’re looking for a highly detail-driven Trade Marketing Coordinator to support the delivery of exceptional in-store marketing execution across our retail footprint.

    What you’ll be doing

    • You’ll play a key role in ensuring flawless execution of all shopper marketing initiatives, maintaining the highest standards across every touchpoint in-store.

    Campaign Execution & Trade Marketing

    • Support the development and implementation of the Trade Marketing Plan aligned to business objectives and quarterly targets
    • Execute all shopper marketing tactics including POS (permanent and temporary), displays, and in-store campaigns
    • Develop detailed project plans including budgets, timelines, and target market considerations
    • Brief and manage all artwork required to support marketing campaigns

    In-Store Marketing & Accuracy

    • Ensure 100% accuracy of all marketing materials and reporting
    • Manage quarterly in-store broadsheets, ensuring full cross-functional sign-off before print
    • Oversee monthly updates of A6/A5 messaging cards with complete accuracy
    • Maintain and update the in-store digital catalogue, including price changes

    Visual Merchandising & Compliance

    • Ensure full compliance with Apple and Core visual merchandising standards
    • Design and implement visual standards across Core and partner stores
    • Develop monthly planograms where Apple guidelines are not provided
    • Collaborate with the Accessories team to create compelling merchandising displays and product “stories”
    • Manage Visual Merchandisers and Store Marketing Champions to deliver best-in-class execution

    Brand & Stakeholder Management

    • Act as a brand custodian, ensuring all communications meet Apple and Core guidelines

    Build and maintain strong relationships with:

    • Third-party suppliers and partners
    • Core suppliers
    • Cellular network marketing teams
    • Align all in-store activity with broader marketing objectives and business strategy

    What we’re looking for

    • 5+ years’ experience in a marketing or trade marketing role
    • Strong retail marketing experience (essential)
    • Brand management experience (advantageous)
    • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
    • Experience working with visual merchandising and in-store execution
    • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

    SMB Manager - Africa

    Job Description

    • iStore is growing rapidly across Africa, and we see a major opportunity to expand our reach within the Small and Medium Business (SMB) market. We’re looking for a commercially driven, entrepreneurial SMB Manager to build and scale this business stream across our African territories.
    • This is a high-impact role focused on driving Apple hardware, software, and services sales into SMB customers while enabling regional teams to grow business sales capability. You’ll work closely with Apple’s B2B team, Core Group Africa leadership, and regional store teams to unlock new revenue opportunities and deliver meaningful business growth.
    • Reporting directly to the CEO of iStore Africa, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands consultative B2B sales, and has a passion for building scalable commercial opportunities across multiple markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    SMB Sales Growth

    • Drive SMB sales targets across Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, and iPhone within all operating territories.
    • Grow SMB contribution to overall regional revenue with a strong focus on year-on-year growth.
    • Build, manage, and maintain a healthy regional SMB pipeline.
    • Partner with store teams and territory representatives to improve business sales performance.
    • Monitor territory performance closely and implement corrective actions where required.

    Lead Generation & Business Development

    • Generate new SMB leads through networking, outreach initiatives, and local business partnerships.
    • Plan and execute “Apple for Business” events across key African markets.
    • Represent iStore at industry expos, networking events, and third-party business engagements.
    • Develop and execute regional SMB campaigns with measurable ROI.
    • Identify and onboard new business customers across the region.

    Solutions & Services

    • Develop compelling SMB bundles combining Apple hardware, AppleCare, financing, MDM solutions, and software offerings.
    • Increase services and software attachment rates across all SMB opportunities.
    • Work closely with Product and Commercial teams to ensure SMB offerings remain competitive and market relevant.
    • Ensure regional teams have the necessary collateral, tools, and training to support SMB sales success.

    Team Enablement & Capability Building

    • Lead and support in-store SMB Specialists across the region through a dotted-line management structure.
    • Implement clear SMB sales processes and KPIs across all stores.
    • Develop and roll out SMB sales playbooks, training programs, and enablement tools.
    • Conduct regular capability assessments and close identified skills gaps through coaching and development.

    Strategic Partnerships

    • Build strong working relationships with Apple’s B2B teams and Core Group Africa’s B2B leadership.
    • Ensure regional SMB activities align with Apple’s broader global SMB strategy.
    • Share market insights, business performance, and strategic priorities with key stakeholders regularly.
    • Identify and develop strategic partnerships that unlock new SMB opportunities, including financing and MDM partners.

    Market Intelligence

    • Maintain a strong understanding of SMB market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity across all territories.
    • Provide actionable market insights to leadership teams to influence commercial and product strategy.
    • Identify untapped SMB verticals and growth opportunities within the African market.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or SMB commercial management.
    • Strong understanding of technology sales, ideally within Apple, consumer electronics, ICT, or enterprise solutions.
    • Experience managing pipelines, revenue targets, and regional commercial performance.
    • Demonstrated ability to build relationships across multiple stakeholders and markets.
    • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Experience working across multiple African markets advantageous.
    • Ability to travel regionally as required.

    Service Manager - iStore Africa

    Purpose of the Role

    • The Service Manager – iStore Africa will own the end-to-end repair journey and strategic leadership of iStore’s service operations across the African continent. This role is accountable for every stage of the repair process — from collections and logistics to workshop operations and final customer delivery — ensuring all service centres operate in line with Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) standards.
    • The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, improving customer experience, maintaining audit readiness, and supporting the continued expansion of iStore service operations across Africa.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational & Repair Management

    • Lead the end-to-end repair lifecycle across all African service locations.
    • Ensure fast, high-quality repairs while maintaining Apple service standards.
    • Drive turnaround times and maintain strong SLA performance across all service centres.
    • Manage parts flow, collections, logistics, and cross-border repair operations.
    • Ensure same-day repairs where workshop capabilities allow.

    Service Quality & Compliance

    • Maintain Apple AASP compliance and audit readiness across all locations.
    • Ensure all technicians maintain required Apple certifications (ACMT / ACiT).
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise workshop efficiency and repair quality.
    • Maintain repeat repair rates below target through strong root-cause analysis and operational controls.

    Customer Experience

    • Drive a premium after-sales customer experience aligned with the iStore brand.
    • Manage escalations effectively and ensure timely customer communication.
    • Improve service desk operations and customer satisfaction metrics.

    Stock & Asset Management

    • Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management across all service centres.
    • Manage workshop asset registers, tooling, and shrinkage controls.
    • Ensure the right parts are available to support operational efficiency.

    Regional Expansion

    • Support the rollout and operational readiness of new service locations across Africa.
    • Ensure all workshops meet Apple standards from day one.
    • Partner with regional stakeholders to support business growth and expansion.

    Leadership

    • Lead and develop Technical and Customer Service Supervisors across multiple countries.
    • Drive team performance, operational rhythm, and accountability.

    Requirements

    Experience

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing after-sales or service operations within premium electronics, technology, or related environments.
    • Proven experience managing service operations across multiple regions or countries.
    • Strong operational understanding of repairs, spare parts management, logistics, and customer service.
    • Experience working within high-performance, KPI-driven environments.
    • Previous Apple or premium technology brand experience advantageous.

    Qualifications

    • Relevant qualification in Business, Operations, Engineering, IT, Electronics, or related field.
    • Apple certifications (ACMT / ACiT) advantageous.
    • Additional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma or ITIL beneficial.
