    Group People Technology Manager (Johannesburg or UK Office)

    Job Description:

    • As the Group People Technology Manager, you’ll lead the global people technology strategy, overseeing the implementation, integration, and optimisation of systems and tools across the employee lifecycle.
    • You’ll play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation, enhancing user experience, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the People Function.
    • You’ll be the technical expert and strategic partner, ensuring our systems are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and aligned with business needs. From managing legacy systems to implementing AI-driven solutions, you’ll help us build a seamless, efficient, and future-ready people technology landscape.

    Key Responsibilities

    Technology Strategy & Delivery

    • Lead the development and execution of a global people technology roadmap.
    • Act as the technical expert across all HR systems, supporting escalations and representing technology needs in planning forums.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to assess needs and implement innovative solutions.

    User Experience & Process Improvement

    • Drive system integration and automation to improve employee experience and data flow.

    Data Governance & Compliance

    • Establish governance standards and ensure compliance with data privacy and security protocols.

    Operational Systems Management

    • Oversee bespoke and legacy systems in operational environments.
    • Manage Time & Attendance systems and ensure integration with payroll.
    • Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure smooth system operations.

    AI & Automation

    • Lead the implementation of AI-driven HR solutions to enhance efficiency and experience.
    • Identify and automate key HR processes, ensuring scalability and compliance.
    • Monitor performance and recommend enhancements based on data insights.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
    • 5–7 years of experience in HR systems, with at least 3–5 years working directly with SuccessFactors.

    Experience

    • Demonstrable experience in a People (HR) function or similar role.
    • Proven expertise in HR systems, data management, and digital transformation.
    • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Forms and Copilot is highly desirable.
    • Experience with SuccessFactors and Microsoft Office is desirable.
    • Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Agile mindset with a customer-focused approach.

    Engineer - Earthmoving Drill & Pit Serv

    Job Description:

    • The role is responsible for creating a high-performance culture and leading the production team to effectively deliver on the set production and respective business continuity targets through an integrated value chain.
    • The role holds the legal accountability with a 2.13.3.1 appointment in terms of the MHSA, responsible for the overall safe operation and maintenance of equipment including availability of HME, light vehicle, and pit dewatering services at Venetia Mine.

    Key Result Areas

    • Role incumbent will be appointed in terms of MHSA Reg 2.13.3.1 and has a strong focus on legal compliance
    • Ensure adherence to the company's Safety, Health and Environmental management programmes and that objectives are implemented according to MHSA legislation and the Strategic Management Plan
    • Direct and identify the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to mining standards, organisational standards and legislative requirements
    • Allocate and manage the utilisation of financial resources and value add to optimise engineering availability and life cycle management of equipment.
    • Management and co-ordination of team and resources to execute maintenance and operational plans for Caterpillar HME Fleet, light vehicle & support equipment fleet, and pit dewatering infrastructure
    • Repair and Maintenance (R&M) contract management for Venetia Mine Caterpillar Fleet
    • Management of the open pit dewatering infra-structure for safe operation and maintenance.
    • Management of the mine surface fleet collision prevention system implementation and maintenance
    • Implement maintenance strategies and tactics to deliver availability, reliability and cost performance to mine business plan

    Qualifications:

    Mnimum Requirements: (Education & Experience)

    • Ndip (N6) or B-Tech or Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
    • Government Certificate of Competency (Mines)
    • This role will carry a regulation 2.13.3.1 appointment
    • 5 years’ experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance management in the mining environment

    Key Tasks

    NB! This role requires an experienced SAP FI/CO expert with 10+ years' experience

    • Work safely and be committed to being a safety leader
    • Work closely with process owners and key users across the global business, to understand business requirements and drive the building of quality solutions
    • Understand and translate business requirements for financial processes into functional and technical specifications for the SAP FI module.
    • Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend system-based solutions that enforce the use of standard system functionality
    • Provide coaching, training and advise on best practice and future use of technology and business process to targeted clients

    Control & Instrumentation Engineer

    Job Description:

    • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality machine control systems.
