    Brewing Operator - Wadeville

    Brewing Operator:

    • Ensure good housekeeping around the Bulk Storage areas & CIP Stations
    • Check for leaks in equipment, pumps, tanks, pipework, etc.
    • Perform descales as required.
    • Transfer chemicals from bulk storage to day tanks, if necessary
    • Inspect to ensure that all CIP fittings are stored correctly.
    • Steaming sampling points
    • Stocktaking
    • Receive chemical deliveries.
    • Decant chemicals.
    • Ensure good housekeeping around the Bulk Storage areas and CIP stations
    • Check for leaks on equipment, pumps, tanks, etc.
    • CIP station Self Cleans
    • Clean Bulk Storage area and maintained according to 5s
    • All Leaks are reported
    • Sterilent baths are made up every 2nd day
    • Ensure sample lines are clean
    • Instructions followed from Technician.

    Operator - Port Elizabeth

    • Packaging operator Receiving chemical deliveries from Diversey.
    • Drive a forklift (only if you have been trained).
    • Offloading of chemicals from trucks.
    • Submit relevant paperwork after deliveries to Technicians.
    • Transfer chemicals from bulk storage to day tanks, if necessary. Use barricades and signage.
    • Chemical containment & storage areas to be kept clean and free of spillages and dirt.
    • Observe dosing lines and pumps for leaks/damages/faults and report immediately to the Technician.
    • Daily stock-taking report for all chemicals: if on night shift 6 am and 6 pm. If on dayshift 1 pm.
    • Fill in EBI reports.
    • Fill in the Stock allocation report correctly.
    • Fill in schedules from the line daily and submit them to Planners.
    • Walk the lines and inspect for issues, downtime, spraying patterns of nozzles, and leaks.
    • Remove and clean blocked nozzles.
    • Clean conveyors.
    • Check the salt tank if there is salt present. Top up if required.
    • Check water hardness and record results.
    • Be on the Line when the Line starts up during maintenance.
    • Check chain lube concentration by Titration.
    • Perform COF/drag Test.
    • Perform 50 crate counts.
    • Perform Methylene Blue Testing in conjunction with ABINBEV for verification.
    • Cleaning of CIP Tanks.
    • Perform 100 Bottle count and complete daily checklist (Conveyor checklist workstation and 5-why’s checklist)
    • Complete the boards at the operator workstation
