    Supervisor III - Wellington

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Execution of production plan as per MPS
    •  Ensure that all relevant Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Explosive regulatory requirements/ systems or standards are adhered to.
    • Manage all process and equipment changes via the applicable modification's procedures. 
    • Accountable for the Facility Operating Instructions for all facilities and also for the training of all employees
    • Accountable for ensuring that manufacturing of products occur as per the Product Manufacturing Instructions and the Quality Control Plan
    • Accountable in ensuring that all employees are trained on the relevant safety, quality and operational documentation pertaining to their jobs. For example, (including but not limited to; FOIs, PMIs, Control Plans, HIRAs, permits, etc.)
    •  Responsible for driving continuous improvement within their facilities.
    • Utilizing the company’s ERP/MES/Systems to monitor, record & control plant performance.
    • Responsible for the issue of safe work permits, job cards, exit permits, etc.
    •  Responsible for filing and record keeping of all quality, SHE documentation, i.e. COA’s, appointment letters, etc.
    •  Responsible for the budgets under his/her control

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

    • Minimum qualification: Btech in Engineering/ Science.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supervision of production plant
    • Must be able to work in a team and lead from the front
    • Must be computer literate, MS Office, ERP and MES systems
    • Must be able to work shifts and overtime on short notice
    • Must be able to work ROTA shift when production plan requires

    Supervisor II - Wellington

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Execution of production plan as per MPS
    • Ensure that all relevant Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and Explosive regulatory requirements/ systems or standards are adhered to
    • Monitor labour utilization and improve productivity.
    • Ensure that employees are trained on Facility Operating Instructions
    • Ensuring that manufacturing of products occur as per the Product Manufacturing Instructions and the Quality Control Plan
    • Maintain explosive licence for operations
    • Maintain adequate stock levels for production
    • Utilising the company’s ERP/MES/Systems to monitor, record & control plant performance
    • Issue of safe work permits, job cards, exit permits for area of responsibility
    • Responsible for filing and record keeping of all quality, SHE documentation, i.e COA’s, appointment letters, etc.

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

    POST REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum qualification: Grade 12 or National Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Science advantageous
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supervision of production plant
    • Must be able to work in a team and lead from the front
    • Must be computer literate, MS Office, ERP and MES systems
    • Must be able to work shifts and overtime on short notice
    • Must be able to work ROTA shift when production plan requires

    Senior Technician: Configuration Management - Somerset West

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Implementation and maintaining of RDM project/product and general documentation/data on the RDM Business Information Systems.
    • Control of RDM Documentation and Data Classification and distribution.
    • Ensure standardisation of all RDM product and general documentation/data
    • Implement and maintain the Numbering convention, formats for Documentation, Technical Drawing and the selection of Configuration Items (CI).
    • Assist in the auditing process of product documentation as well as documentation Data and the implementing of corrective actions.
    • Implement and maintain the documentation status with the Master Record Index (MRI’s).
    • Status of documentation change control process. (ECP/TCP’s, Concessions and Deviations) per CI
    • Compile, review and the maintaining Engineering/Manufacturing Bill of Materials.
    • Represent Configuration Management on Internal and External meetings and workshops.
    • Assist in providing Configuration Management service and training to internal clients.
    • Assist with the upgrading and testing of Configuration Management systems in the PLM environment.

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

    • National Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
    • B.Tech in Engineering would be advantageous.
    • Trained in Military Acquisition and Specification practice.
    • Course in Systems Engineering & Project Management.
    • Institute of Configuration Management Certification Program (CMII)
    • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in defence or high-tech engineering development industry
    • Good analytical & problem solving skills.
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Technical computer literacy (e.g. 2D & 3D CAD, Teamcenter, SAP).
    • Administrative computer literacy (e.g. MS Office Applications).
    • Fundamental knowledge of the principles of the Configuration Management during product development process, according to recognised standards.
    • Fundamental understanding of Configuration Management principles in the Defence Environments.
    • Knowledge of engineering standards.Knowledge of quality principles.
    • Knowledge of procurement principles.

    Production Planner - Potchefstroom

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Procurement requirements are processed on time
    • Lead stock count for responsible plants
    • Review and management of manufacturing Bills of Materials
    • Update routings and production versions
    • Manage and correct MPS and communicate plan for on time delivery to sales plan
    • Arrange inter-site collection of goods and delivery of complete products to other sites
    • Overview the capturing and reporting of works orders and WIP. Resolve discrepancies.
    • Provide accurate input into all RFQ and Contract execution meetings
    • Complete and update all management reports (KPI reporting)

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

    • Minimum qualification: Diploma with Commerce/ Production/Supply Chain related majors or any relevant NQF 6 equivalent qualification
    • Extensive 3 years’ experience in ERP/ MRP within a manufacturing or production environment
    • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and conflict management skills with sound persuasive and client relationship skills
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills
    • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
    • Advanced computer literacy (particularly in Excel and SAP)
    • Analytical thinker that can work under pressure

    Instrumentation Technician - Potchefstroom

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Formulate PLC programmes using Siemens PLC for plant automation
    • Program and configure Siemens HMIs and Citect SCADA
    • Programming of software to integrate all electrical and pneumatic equipment to operate the facility within the required safety and process conditions
    • Configure communication between hardware and software using profibus and ethernet networks
    • Assist with PLC programme upgrades and breakdowns
    • Assist with plant commissioning and training
    • Assist with instrumentation design and review activities

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

    • Minimum National Diploma Electrical Engineering or N3 with trade test certificate or equivalent NQF level
    • Minimum 3 years of PLC programming experience in manufacturing environment preferable
    • Attention to detail, communication, planning and administrative skills
    • Siemens S7 Programming (TIA Portal: Step 7 and WinCC) experience
    • Citect Scada and HMI knowledge and experience
    • An in-depth understanding and working knowledge of control and instrumentation activities and drawings
    • Experience in implementation of instrumentation projects and software programming
    • Good planning, integration and resources management skills
    • Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with multiple disciplines both internally and externally.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations and report writing
    • Computer literacy: SAP, MS Word, Excel, Power Point-proficient level
