    Senior Data Analyst

    Job Description

    • My client a leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions, is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join their growing team. This role focuses on enabling data-driven decision-making, improving data structures, and supporting business reporting across the organisation.
    • The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-directed individual with strong analytical ability, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Analyse and maintain an understanding of the SQL Server data environment, including data structures and flows.
    • Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries.
    • Translate business reporting requirements into data solutions.
    • Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
    • Build and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards.
    • Perform ad hoc analysis to support business decision-making.
    • Identify and recommend improvements to data structures and performance.
    • Support testing, validation, and data quality processes.
    • Assist business users with data and reporting queries.
    • All other tasks related to the role.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Degree in a relevant quantitative field (Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Finance).
    • 8-10 years’ experience in a similar data analysis role.
    • Strong SQL skills.
    • Experience documenting data architectures, data models, or data dictionaries.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain
    • Excel-based reports and dashboards.
    • Strong communication skills in English with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
    • Own reliable transport.

    Advantageous:

    • Experience with data modelling or database optimisation.
    • Exposure to Power BI or similar tools.
    • Python experience.
    • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery practices.
    • Experience in fintech, payments or financial services.

    Business Development Lead

    Job Description

    • My Client, a leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions, is looking for a Business Development Lead: High Volume & Strategic Bill Issuers to join their growing team.
    • The main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for step growth in transaction volumes through servicing existing billers effectively, and through the onboarding of new high-volume potential billers.
    • The ideal candidate is a dynamic and proactive self-starter, with the ability to switch between high level strategy and detailed work. Furthermore, the candidate is disciplined and tenacious, seeing opportunities through to completion.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Drive transaction growth across existing billers and payment channels (retail and digital)
    • Identify, source, and onboard new billers
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key biller stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor
    • Develop and manage strategic partnerships (e.g. banks, referral partners)
    • Identify and implement innovative solutions to grow their offering
    • Serve as the primary liaison between billers/prospects and internal teams
    • Collaborate with marketing to support and enhance their market presence
    • Ensure smooth operational delivery for all biller-related activities
    • Monitor, analyse, and report on sales performance, opportunities, and forecasts

    Minimum requirements:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification.
    • 5-8 years of similar experience in the payments/financial industry, with referenceable sales and enterprise-level client relationship management experience;
    • Strong understanding of the payments environment (retailers, digital, banking, card schemes, EFT, settlement, acquiring, etc.) is crucial to the role;
    • Valid driver’s license, own transport, and the ability to travel fairly often;
    • Fluent in business English; additional languages will be seen as beneficial.
