    Electronic Technician -RTD Production and Utilities

    Job description

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintain electronic process control systems – hardware and software
    • Ensure that installation of new process control systems is done according to company standards
    • Maintain field hardware – loop checks / calibration, etc.
    • Review process control philosophies and recommend optimisation.
    • Audit process control programmes regularly and ensure that changes that are made are carried out according to ISO procedure.
    • Ensure the necessary documentation is done – installation drawings, P&ID’s, Loop identification, Field and termination tagging, etc.
    • Coordinate (program) individual machine output to optimise overall line performance
    • Ensure proper access control to electronic system
    • Fault finding and maintaining electronic equipment.
    • Ensure current backup for electronic systems on the designated server location
    • Actively participate in Minibuses Operating System activities.
    • Perform all relevant administrative functions
    • Train / coach Production controllers, Artisans, Machine controller and operators
    • Assist the Artisans and Production controllers with their tasks.

    The Successful Candidate Must Have The Following Experience/skills

    • N4 with Trade Certificate – Electronic
    • 3-5 years experience in maintenance of electronic system
    • 3-5 various PLC experience including Siemens S7
    • 3-5 experience in industrial networks (Profibus / Net)
    • Ability to assist Production Controllers with problem solving on the production machines and equipment
    • Ability to transfer knowledge to peers and customers
    • Display strong action, initiative and focus competencies.
    • To reflect good leadership behaviour – towards colleagues, superior and company values
    • Conduct problem solving against proven techniques and methods.
    • Proven ability to work under pressure and accurately
    • Must be willing and able to work shifts and overtime when required
    • Knowledge and experience of effective housekeeping principles and health and safety standards.

    Admin Clerk Cellars

    Job description

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Achieve production requirements against targets
    • Ensure strict adherence to stock take procedures
    • Compile weekly bulk requirement report
    • Administration of process flow
    • Monitor cellar bulk movements
    • Compile weekly and monthly reports
    • Create requisitions for the purchasing of raw materials and consumables
    • Monitor production data and records on SAP
    • Manage administrative functions of the Cellar
    • Solutions and innovations to contribute towards continuous improvement
    • Established networks with suppliers / service departments and internal customers
    • Liaise with Production Planner regarding bulk requirements
    • Implemented initiatives of business plans
    • Attend daily cross-functional production meetings

    The successful candidate must preferably have the following minimum experience/skills:

    • Grade 12 and N6 in a relevant discipline
    • 2 – 3 years’ administrative experience will be beneficial
    • Proven verbal and written communication skills (Bilingualism)
    • Executing administrative functions on the SAP system would be beneficial.
    • Computer literate in MS Office, with Excel on an intermediate level of competence
    • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential
    • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
    • Display good product knowledge
    • Demonstrate a high ability to plan and organize cellar activities
    • Strong inter- and intra-personal skills.
    • Good administrative skills
    • Demonstrate the ability to perform under pressure

    Minimum Qualification And Experience Requirements

    • BSC Winemaking or a BTech in Food Technology/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology
    • A minimum of 5 years experience in a Team Leadership role within an FMCG environment (preferably in a Beverage Manufacturing facility)
