Role Outline:
The essence of this role is to drive the strategy, team, process and delivery of customer for life marketing in South Africa. Reporting to the Country Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be focal point of leadership for achieving our local cross sell, upsell, migration and retention C4L revenue targets.
As C4L Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:

Executing on the vision and direction for customer marketing, with a strong focus on accelerating company growth.
- Coordinate the marketing plan and marketing budget process in support of country’s sales goals following the Global Marketing Operations guidelines.

Direct line responsibility for building and running the C4L marketing teams in country.

The marketing strategy & resources to achieve C4L targets

Develop data-driven decision-making culture to effectively optimise inbound and online funnels for our existing customer base, driving revenue.

A country-specific campaign plan that sequences global and local campaigns into an optimised structure focused around our customers.

Close collaboration with regional marketing functions, campaign team, digital teams, media, web, and social.

Work with product marketing & regional campaign team to establish a common campaign framework for the country marketing community to leverage.

Interlock with the marketing director of the country to ensure agreement on priorities, adjusting as required by changing market conditions and emerging opportunities.

Optimise the end-to-end lead management process with sales & marketing operations.

Accountable for the ROI of our marketing investments.
- Deliver relevant budgetary reporting as necessary and in line with global guidelines.
Person Specification:
The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of direct marketing and customer experience. Significant experience in digital marketing spanning strategy, media, demand generation, web marketing and lead qualification in a B2B environment. Strong understanding of web environments to marketing, user experience, traffic acquisition, conversion & optimisation. Very strong knowledge of the lead management and optimization process. Really good relationships with sales teams.

Marketing Knowledge Required:

Multi-touch, multi-dimensional marketing program design, creation and implementation, demand waterfall processes and metrics. Direct marketing and customer communication.
Key Skills: include conceptual skills to develop a common campaign model, strong inbound marketing experience including social and content, exceptional project and agency management and the ability to leverage technology including marketing automation, web content management, web analytics and business intelligence.

Education:
Degree qualified or equivalent.
MBA in marketing or related business degree strongly preferred.
