    Senior Manager - Project Office

    How You’ll Contribute

    • Directs multiple departments and guides management and/or principal/expert employees who exercise significant independence and autonomy in decision making.
    • Creates and continuously enhances operating policies and procedures that impact multiple disciplines and departments.
    • Account for the budget, performance and results of medium to large sized teams and influences functional strategy if required.
    • Manages experienced professionals who exercise high latitude and independence in their assignments.
    • Exercises full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination and other human resources actions.

    What You’ll Bring

    • You will have a Project Management degree/diploma with at least 8 - 10 years experience of practical project management expertise in a corporate environment entailing full project/development lifecycles, implementation, and facilitation and testing with appropriate methodologies. Leads and directs multiple project teams engaged in the design, implementation and modification of IT projects that span across functional organisations.
    • Must have demonstrated ability to manage, develop and motivate other employees. Should have demonstrated profound understanding of specific functional area. Strong problem solving and decision making abilities are critical. Have a strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a diverse team. Strong leadership capability with proven ability to function in a high paced environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify, define, address and solve multi- dimensional issues of an ambiguous nature including those that affect operations, employees or finances.

    • As Senior Manager in the Project Management team other key performance areas will include:
    • Participates with other senior management to establish strategic goals, plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on administrative or procedural matters to ensure operations achieve their objectives.
    • Contacts are typically with peers, subordinate management and senior management concerning projects, operational decisions and/or scheduling requirements that affect the scope of their responsibility.
    • Interactions require special skills including negotiations and/or influencing senior leaders internally or externally regarding matters of significant importance to the organization.
    • Develops guidelines, processes and procedures for assigned functional area. Responsible for resource allocation, including budget and employees.
    • Makes strategic decisions based on company goals and objectives.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
