    Monitoring and Compliance Officer

    Job description

    A Dynamic organisation whose mission it is to close gaps between enterprise development, supplier development and preferential procurement, is seeking a Monitoring and Compliance Officer for their Post Investment Management team. The MCO will provide support on investment portfolios, investee compliance & credit control and reporting.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in accounting, finance or legal)
    • 2-3 years in a similar M&C role
    • Background in financial and / or legal environments preferable
    • Investment industry exposure / experience
    • Basic knowledge of accounting and financial statement analysis. Basic understanding of legal, reporting and administration
    • Resourcefulness, good communicator,organised, good attention to detail, enjoys routine compliance-related work

    Fund Accountant

    Job description

    An Enterprise Development organisation is seeking a talented and driven individual to manage its financial and legal administration for one of their leading funds. This individual will be responsive for Bookkeeping, Management Accounting, Statements and Confirmations, financial Reporting, Legal Administration, Stakeholder Co-ordination and will be reporting into the Designated Trustee and Chief investment Officer.

    Requirements

    • BCom Accounting Degree
    • Financial Reporting and Administration (IFRS for SMEs)
    • Previous experience reconciling and submitting income tax and VAT returns is essential
    • Understanding of corporate legal principles
    • Experience in the Private Equity or Venture Capital Fund Management Industry is highly advantageous
    • Report writing abilities & Microsoft Office competence

    Post Qualification Experience 4 years
