    Assistant Manager-GCR

    Job description

    Requirement Overview

    To provide support to management in managing audit initiatives that promotes the secure, effective and efficient implementation/configuration of ERP systems within the government sector.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Understand work procedures and apply existing policies in own field of work.

    Skills, Experience & Education

    Formal Education

    B Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Informatics

    The following will be an added advantage:

    Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
    Knowledge

    • Knowledge of Auditing
    • Knowledge and understanding of the principles of finance and the components involved in finance; must be able to apply PFMA and MFMA principles and adhere to due dates
    • In-depth knowledge and skills in Informatics

    Experience

    Minimum 3-5 years IS auditing experience

    Change Manager : People & Organisational Effectiveness

    Job description

    Requirement Overview

    To coordinate and facilitate the implementation of organisational change management strategies and interventions for the AGSA across all Business Units - utilising the change management framework.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Assessing the need for change (and the capacity and capability to meet the identified need)
    • Determine the need for change in the Business Units (conducting a needs analysis and situational assessment )
    • Determine the Business Units capacity and capability to meet the identified change need
    • Determine the BU support structures (SDF, HRBP, etc.) capability and capacity to meet identified needs.
    • Develop / Operationalise a Change Management Framework
    • Change Management Framework
    • Utilisation of the change management framework, to assist the AGSA’s leadership as key drivers in improving performance.
    • Identified and implemented interventions (within the framework) to support the change at BU level and across the entire organisation
    • Recommending best practice concerning change interventions
    • Conducting benchmarking exercises and research on the best practices with regards to change interventions
    • Communicating the change vision to stakeholders
    • Inform and advise stakeholders on the need for change, change model to be followed and expected outcomes (following a consultative process).
    • Continued engagements with stakeholders to provide an understanding on the change thus developing their competency, capability and capacity on change management.
    • Creating action plans for key change implementation steps
    • Draft and develop a change management plan to be implement (apply project management principles)
    • Implementing change management interventions
    • Implement the change interventions to assist the organisation in terms of change based on the needs - analysis.
    • Evaluating the effectiveness of implemented change management interventions
    • Assess the effectiveness of the change management initiative(s) implemented
    • Managing and co-ordinating the consultative processes
    • Have continuous consultative sessions with stakeholders
    • Report on the change management processes and action plans.
    • Draft a report to provide feedback on the change management action plans implemented and report any gaps identified.
    • Prepare and present reports on change management interventions (e.g. Change Readiness Assessment Reports, Change Impact Assessments Reports, etc.)

    To assist in the management of a portfolio of audits in an effective and efficient manner with the resources allocated and to meet the requirements of the PFMA and MFMA timelines. To guide trainee accountants in their development and their abilities and manage the complete day-to-day running of the audit whilst maintaining client relations on behalf of my audit manager and team.

    Skills, Experience & Education

    • Completed CA (SA) qualification
    • (Accounting & Auditing should be the major focus areas)
    • 3 years in auditing/accounting environment together with completed articles.
