    1 X General Worker (Operations and Maintenance)

    Salary: R189 031. 08 per annum (Job level 17)

    Job Purpose: To perform general labour activities related to construction and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • The General Worker must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council
    • Provide assistance to the electrical staff in the maintenance and construction of electrical installations
    • Cleans substation surrounding area and stores area.
    • Maintains and clean equipment and tools used.
    • Requirements:  Very basic literacy
