WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Siyavula is looking for a multi-talented person to take responsibility for building and maintaining the aesthetic of our practice service and marketing media.
In this role, you will provide art direction and visual design expertise. We are a small team and you will work directly with our learning researcher, pedagogy specialists, and front- and back-end developers to create great user experiences.

- Work with our team to create user onboarding experiences, motivational content for learners, data-driven dashboards for parents and teachers, and more
- Collaborate with marketing team members to drive the look and feel of our content marketing, including social media, blog and PDFs
- Work with our product manager to develop and continually refine a comprehensive understanding of our users through contextual interviews, usability testing, and behavioural data analysis
- Create wireframes and mockups with project managers, guide our developers to successfully implement designs, and participate in QA
- Help create our brand guidelines, and work with our front-end developer on our existing UI style guide
- Interrogate current or proposed processes in order to effectively solve problems through UX design.
We are looking for someone who is excited about an opportunity to use their skills to enhance the learning experience of 100 000s of learners, and help us reach our goal of helping 10 million aspiring learners in Africa excel in maths and science by 2025. We are passionate about education, and we want to build rich learning experiences to excite learners. If that inspires you, you will fit in perfectly!

- Solid experience in conducting contextual interviews, usability testing, and behavioural data analysis (Google Analytics)
- Solid, demonstrable experience in creating journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and other UX deliverables
