Project Manager at App Developer Studio

Job description

We are a rapidly-growing App Development Company based in Johannesburg. We have a growing list of local SME and Blue Chip clients requiring smartphone apps, websites and hosting services. We do much of our development using our technical team in India, whilst project managing, designing, testing and supporting our clients locally.

We require project managers to facilitate these app development projects to tight budgets and timeframes. This would involve working across a multi-functional team including local clients and the overseas developer.

This role does NOT require formal project management or technical training or even experience. We are looking for the correct attitude and basic skills and we will train the rest on the job.

This is be a flexible role based upon a minimum number of working hours - initially about 20 hours/ week but this may increase. The working hours are not fixed to 9-5 so a successful candidate would be able to work around, for example, family obligations. A large amount of the role could be done as work from home but the client should be based in/ around Johannesburg (preferable) or Pretoria.
