What are the responsibilities of the role?

• The successful candidate will take the leadership role for the EM CS AS area reporting to the head of EM CS
• Focusing on South Africa and assigned African countries the successful candidate will actively plan implement and deliver T&D Customer Services for EM CS AS, as to achieve the EM CS business units targets and KPI's
• Implements policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure proper application services delivered to customers, for an assigned technical area, products, solutions and services
• Implements superior strategy and guidelines, and develops/defines functional specific policies, processes and/or methods for Application Services for organizational units and the business in the area of responsibility from a commercial and a technical perspective.
• Ensures obeying regional laws and regulations.
• Ensures a proficient and capable workforce to conduct required service tasks in time and quality.
• Provides the necessary work environment, tools and processes to optimally deliver application services to customers.
• Acts as escalation instance for resolving issues with Application Services and internal units.
• Have P&L responsibility for his/her organizational reach.
• Manages organization unit(s) assigned, and leads and/or coordinates dedicated management and staff.
• Will be responsible for Internal reporting to Management, as well as external reporting to the customer.
• Will ensure that the customer account is up to date with regards to queries, CRM data, and financials.
• Will be responsible for relevant projections, forecasting and reporting.
• Will be responsible for arranging and participating in interactive marketing forums with customers, colleagues and press as to contribute towards achieving the EM CS AS business unit's objectives through strategic and tactical marketing activities aimed at the target market.
• As to maintain a holistic customer focus and interaction the successful candidate will be actively leading Tendering and Quote activities.
• The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a budget of approximately ZAR120million per annum coupled with a 20-25% growth target year on year as part of its leadership role.

• Must be able to communicate to internal and external stakeholders throughout the complete service value chain
• Completed Engineering Degree or Diploma
• Qualification in Project Management and/or service management will be advantages
• Electrical Engineering Background, coupled with sound financial knowledge.
• Seasoned and practical management experience in T&D Customer Services. (7 (Seven) years plus)
• Must have experience across all facets of the end-end Energy value chain.
• Good knowledge of the Utility, Industry and Mining market.
• Knowledge of Projects and the processes resulting in value adding opportunities.
• Sound demonstratable Knowledge of the OSH act, ISO9001, ISO9014 and ISO 9018
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and must be willing to travel extensively
