About the role

The main purpose of the Manager role is to manage client portfolios, maintain sound client relationships and manage the audit team, including the coaching and development of staff.

Essential skills and experience

• Relevant professional qualification
• CA (SA) 0 – 12 months post articles experience
• Specialist industry knowledge IFRS experience
• Display sound leadership skills
• Computer literate with all PwC’s software
• The ability to market our services and to establish contacts in the market place
• Self-motivated, pay attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and management skills Ability to multi task
• Analytical and solution driven
• Pro-active and committed to delivery
• Excellent time management skills

Required qualifications

• CA (SA) 0-12 months post articles experience Specialist industry knowledge

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients in respect of attest-, accounting and consultation work Manage special projects.
• Develop our practice by targeting new clients.
• Risk management Monitors costs against budgets.
• Contribute to office management team.
• Contribute to development of staff .
• Business Development and client relationship building.
• Manage Work In Progress and Debtors Staff management and appraisals.
• Report writing Compliance with PwC audit Methodology
