    Head of Reward & Org Design

    Job description

    Summary of Role and Context:

    • Reporting to the Group Head of People, a strategic and hands-on role that is:
    • Accountable for the implementation of a holistic (tangible and intangible) total reward & recognition strategy which contributes to a high performing organisation and a differentiated employer brand that retains and attracts top talent.
    • Accountable for the governance of organisational structures, role design & evaluation in order to ensure optimum structures for maximum management impact (profitability per employee)

    Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills

    • 10+ years remuneration and benefits experience
    • 5 years organisational design, role design and evaluation experience
    • Prior experience in HR practices and remuneration cycle management
    • Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems
    • Previous experience with labour market surveys
    • Understands current national wellness and wellbeing initiatives and activities, developing a network of resources and contacts to use as appropriate.
    • Understands the core business processes and able to apply internal organisational logic of the operational model
    • Understands the market & legislative trends of reward & benefits
    • Applies cultural sensitivity to match reward programs to optimise organisational culture
    • Understands the evolving organisational design principles of the new world of work
    • Strategic thinking ability
    • Conflict management
    • Business Acumen
    • Problem solving
    • Decision-quality


    Educational Requirements:

    • HRPayroll related Degree
    • GRP Qualified
