Job description

The main purpose of the job is: To provide effective strategic leadership in all areas of the Branch including parts, service, admin and sales ensuring effective performance of the business.

Reporting: This position will report to the Truck Centre Director.

Job Objectives

• Provide leadership and guidance for operational planning for parts sales, admin and service in line with strategic objectives.
• Effectively implement systems and processes.
• Provide management support to deal with misconduct and discipline.
• Review KPIs and monitor performance of staff.
• Determine and implement initiatives to build good work relationships.
• Ensure effective customer service and CSI levels are achieved through customer visits, addressing customer queries.
• Close monitoring and control business performance.
• Interrogate performance figures and determine immediate solutions/recommendations for improvement in the case of areas of poor performance.
• Effective control of Selling and Admin expenses.
• Ability to draft and present business reports.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and Safety compliance.

Job Experience 

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Branch Manager or equivalent.
• Proven technical knowledge and experience within the Commercial Vehicle Industry.
• Grade 12/Matric or the equivalent.
• Relevant post matric qualification.
