The purpose of the role is to support Portfolio Admin & Outsourced Business

Key Responsibilities

• Broker performance analysis
• Identifying trends within data
• Data mining
• Report building
• Identification of incorrect underwriting
• Identification of performance and growth corrective actions
• Driving implementation and monitoring of corrective action for profit and growth
• Communication of analysis findings to management
• Pro-actively identifies phenomena to be tested and explored.
• Monitor results of all action plans implemented.
• Analytical support to internal divisions (Risk Services and Broker Distribution).
• Report writing and presentations.
• Manage data cleansing and data quality control.
• Data modelling – enhancing and use of current models

Minimum Requirements

• BCom Degree in Statistics or similar disciplines would be an advantage
• Expert in MS Excel
• Strong analytical capability is a requirement
• 2 to 3 years general insurance experience will be an advantage
• Experience in working with large data sets
• Knowledge of data mining techniques
• Short term insurance pricing knowledge would be an advantage
