CSS Programmer at Saratoga

Job description

We’re looking for an innovative and experienced CSS programmer to join the Saratoga team. The developer will work independently and as part of a team in an Agile environment using HTML5 and CSS. Delivery of enhancements and features as required by the Product Owner as well as ad-hoc fixes to existing functionality will be required and the developer will be based at the Saratoga offices.

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following key deliverables:

• Converting designs to HTML/CSS layouts for desktop, mobile and tablet in a responsive framework.
• Browser testing and fixing across IE8+, Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome.
• Coding with API’s from social media tools such as Facebook, in order to create better user experiences and great mechanics for campaigns.
• Offering expert design and front-end framework advice to the client and the development team to guide decision-making
• To provide support to our clients /sales team on related technical issues.
• Bug fixing and modifications.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience required

• Relevant degree or 3-4 year technical diploma
• 3+ years CSS experience
• 3+ years in web development (either websites or web-based systems)

Technical Skills

Essential:

• HTML 5
• CSS 3
• Javascript
• CSS/XHTML for front end templating

Advantageous:

• Agile /SCRUM experience
• Gulp, Grunt, Webpack & Git
• Mac and/or Linux environment experience
