Job description
The MWEB Connect division currently has vacancies for Field Sales Representatives in Johannesburg who will be reporting to the Field Sales Manager. Field Sales Reps will be responsible for acquiring new customers through direct marketing channels like door to door selling MWEB’S Fibre to the Home (FTTH) and ADSL products
- Achieve sales targets and objectives through Field Sales initiatives
- To acquire new customers through cold calling, door to door visits and appointment setting
- To provide exceptional service and product knowledge on a variety of MWEB Connect products
- Ensure that quality assurance is maintained
- Ensure all relevant documentation is compiled and completed accurately as per sales process
- Keep abreast with the latest technology and packages on offer
- Drive sales in Fibre to the Home areas according to new acquisition sales plan
- Ability to use different business development tactics to create new business opportunities through independent prospecting.
- Represent the company at networking, activations and other industry-related functions
- Must have an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to manage daily, weekly, monthly and yearly targets non-negotiable
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic business development environment

- Previous EXTERNAL Sales experience – “hunter”
