A vacancy exists within Singisi Forest Product, for a suitably qualified and experienced

GROUP FINANCIAL MANAGER - SFP

• The successful incumbent will be responsible for the development, implementation and control of the financial function within Singisi Forest Products (Pty) Ltd. Responsible for assisting management in achieving a RONA of 15% and managing the cashflow for the operations.
• The successful incumbent will report directly to the Group Financial Manager: Shared Services. The following criteria must be complied with:

Position Specifications:

• Minimum of a relevant tertiary qualification (CA) NQF level 7 minimum
• At least 5-7 years’ experience in financial management on management level
• Management experience/ability within a results driven industrial environment (5-7 years)
• Experience/ability to manage employees in line with relevant employment legislations (5 years)
• Experience/ability to understand and act upon financial issues of a high budget business (5 to 7 years)
• Experience working on financial ERP systems
• Knowledge of the Timber industry and related products would be advantageous
• Sound business acumen

Person Requirements:

• Advanced levels of computer literacy in complete MS Office suite
• Influencing and persuasive skills
• Person must be fully literate in the English language and be able to represent both himself and the business at all levels
• Ability to prepare accurate reports and presentations and the self-confidence to communicate this work to various levels of the business
