    Corporate IT Support

    Job description
    Introduction

    We are looking for a highly motivated Corporate IT Support member to join us as we build and sustain global offices and end-users, which are growing at a monumental pace. In this capacity, we are looking for a super smart, friendly, awesome, all around proud-to-be-a-geek individual who not only takes care of technology, but the people using it. As a member of the Corporate IT team, you will have opportunity to create a seamless experience to Kurtosys end-users in multiple offices around the world, have the pleasure of setting up office infrastructure from scratch, and joy of solving the everyday technical challenges life will be so boring without.     Equipment and Software

    The Corporate IT Support Specialist needs to be conversant and very familiar with the following technologies:

    • Mac and Windows Computers
    • Internal Severs
    • Shared File Server
    • Active Directory
    • Symantec Backup Exec 2014
    • Time Machine Backups
    • Role and Responsibilities
    • Provide first level support to end users in London, New York, Guargon, Reno, and Cape Town offices.
    • Set up new employees – setting up new computers, and accounts
    • Support of Microsoft 365 Suite
    • Hardware failure maintenance
    • Firewall/router problems
    • VPN/Internet Connectivity Problems – configuration issues, cabling problems
    • Tagging and keeping inventory of all equipment
    • Trouble shoot issues effectively – know when to use your resources and when to escalate.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years experience as a Desktop Support Technician at a mid-size company
    • Experience supporting Mac and Windows operating systems in a corporate domain
    • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
    • A genuine eagerness to learn new concepts
    • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.
    • Experience with Windows system management tools, managed encryption, system imaging, backup & recovery solutions.
    • Process and Working
    • The Infrastructure department works on both routine administration within and on project work introducing new technologies and features associated with the hosting services. We operate normal office hours with Level 2 support 24x7 for customer hosting where Level 2 is apparent network or hardware failure.
