    Counter Manager

    Job Description

    Position Summary

    • Drive business through Education, On-counter coaching, Outside Events, On-counter Activities in retail outlets and build brand equity.
    • Plan and Coordinate events to ensure increased sales, brand awareness and productivity within the Brand, while maintaining Brand Image.
    • Achieve the sales objectives through own effective performance, through exceptional customer service and through the effective management, development and motivation of the team.
    • Meet and exceed service and sales goals established by coaching the artists on how to achieve goals by building long-term customers

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver 100% customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure all counters are correctly merchandised, meeting all hygiene standards as directed by the Brand.
    • Maximize in-store visual projection on counter and promotional areas (secure additional and best merchandising space where possible).
    • Resolve any issues/complains related to business and reported to Manager.
    • Assist in the timely development and execution of department marketing program, including seasonal new product launches and product re-promotes sampling and merchandising programs within specified categories in accordance with global Brand guidelines.
    • Effectively supports GWP & special events programs in line with global guidelines and monitor sell thru.
    • Provide regular feedback on new product launches and other programs as well as on local market trends and competitive activity.
    • Ensure the team is coached, developed and motivated in all aspects of the business (selling, product knowledge, administration and customer service etc).
    • Plan BAs/Consultants rosters to ensure the counter is adequately covered at all times so the customers can be served.
    • Delegate tasks efficiently to the team members and ensure smooth flow of the operation.
    • Communicate information effectively to the team member on a daily and weekly basis as required.
    • Set daily sales targets to each BAs/Consultants.
    • Conduct performance reviews and discuss individual action plan on a time to help the BAs/Consultant to achieve the Company’s expectation from them.
    • Give consistent and timely feedback.
    • Recognize the hard work of BAs/Consultants and reported it to the Manager.
    • Ensure that performance challenges are dealt promptly and in line with Company policy and procedure and reported to the Manager.
    • Ensure that the team delivers Company’s customer service standards.
    • Work at gathering customer’s feedback and reported the same to the Manager.
    • Handle customer complaints and raise it to the attention of the Manager.
    • Answers queries and obtains information, and follows up all pending matters related to Brand personnel, products, events etc.
    • Ensure the knowledge of all BA’s/Consultants regarding product launches, promotions, and events etc.
    • Communicate to manager saleable items and non-saleable. Ensure stocks availability of saleable items and recommend or motivate BAs/Consultant to suggest non-saleable items to achieve sales targets.
    • Closely monitor and analyze business results to recognize areas of opportunity and growth that will build and impact the business.
    • Set, monitor and follow up each BAs/Consultants sales performance.
    • With manager put in place 6 months activity planner that will ensure the achievement of targets.
    • Monitor competitor’s activities and discuss action plan with the Manager. Recommends in-store and outside activities to build sales.
    • Ensures all reports and documentations are completed accurately and in line with Company deadlines.
    • Monitor BAs/Consultants time sheet.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Assist in managing counter expenses.
    • Attend education seminars to gain Brand philosophy and product knowledge.
    • Lead by example to create an environment that is encouraging, respectful, and motivational and builds team co-operation.
    • Apply grooming standard to all personnel as per company policy.

    Qualifications

    • Cosmetic experience preferred.
    • 1-2 years key holder responsibility in a supervisory role in a service oriented environment
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
    • Computer literate – MS Office
    • Managerial experience.
    • Makeup-up Certification.
