    Manager: Credit - Johannesburg

    Job Purpose

    The Credit Manager’s objective is to assess and evaluate the lending application for Commercial clients, to minimise impairments, and maximise profit. 

    This role includes consistent application of the Nedbank’s credit policy, through a risk-based affordability assessment, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers within the agreed risk parameters as set out in the Nedbank Credit Strategy.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Validate client and supporting information through analysing and reviewing credit applications by assessing contents of documents for the proposed funding package and the viability of funding being applied for.
    • Appropriate client solutioning in line with clients’ business model 
    • Meeting client expectations by operating within the specified parameters, Service Level Agreements (SLA) and ensuring deliverables are timeously met whilst still ensuring that credit processes are adhered to including mandated official sign on all applications

    Compliance Officer - Johannesburg / Cape Town

    Job Purpose

    Nedbank’s Wealth Management SA division is recruiting for a Compliance Officer to support their business. The incumbent will provide advice, guidance, oversight and assurance on the adherence to compliance practices in WMSA (1st line) to ensure compliance risks for applicable legislation are identified, assessed, managed and reported on for Nedbank.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (i.e. the division’s 1st line as well as 2nd line divisional functions such as risk, AML and legal and 3rd line being audit) by establishing effective partnerships to identify and manage compliance risks

    Business Information Security Officer - JHB

    Job Purpose

    The BISO must support the CIB business cluster in the implementation and execution of the cyber resilience risk management framework that includes implementation of cyber risk assessments, strategy, cyber security programme, policies, standards, reporting of all cluster-specific cyber security programme elements and regulatory matters as it relates to cyber security.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Drive compliance to cybersecurity policies and standards on cluster infrastructure. 
    • Primary interface between the cluster and CISO office. 
    • Represent business as a cybersecurity representative on the CyRC. 
    • Ensure alignment and implementation of CRRMF in clusters.

    Manager: Agriculture

    Job Purpose

    The Manager Agriculture (MA) is seen as a specialist within NCB to drive agricultural growth in the Region and or Province with certain key responsibilities. The purpose of a Manager Agriculture is to drive and achieve growth in market share and profitability through specialist input that supports the Agric strategy and promote the Nedbank brand.     Privacy Specialist

    Job Purpose

    • To assist with management of compliance risk in the CIB business areas by ensuring compliance with the Compliance Framework and Methodology manuals and to provide privacy expertise and guidance to stakeholders on the protection of personal information to ensure compliance to relevant legislation and to mitigate risks.
