Own Brand Assistant Buyer at RHR plc

JD Sports Fashion PLC are looking to recruit an Own Brand Assistant Buyer to join their ever growing and fast paced Own Brand Buying Team situated at JD's Head Office in Pilsworth, Bury.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

• Supporting the Buying function on relevant category (tbc)
• Attending all appointments, with involvement in selection and editing of product
• Present ranges for sign off with head of product and head of merchandising
• Preparation and presentation of performance in trade meetings
• Proposals to assist driving sales in your relevant department
• Support Own Brand development of product
• Support the design and development team across PLM
• Input basic tech packs onto PLM
• Support the Product Developer with the sampling of product and sample costings.
• Send orders to agreed factories
• Assist Product Developer with PP's and gold sealing of product.
• Own Brand meeting preparation
• Buying and order administration, monitoring and answering order queries
• Order tracking via PLM and suppliers
• Sample logging and maintaining bought samples
• Co-ordinate order placements to factories from multiple fascias
• Working alongside the product developer to inspect and measure garments (proto samples through to production)
• Manage the critical path for all orders working with suppliers and factories to maintain product approval deadlines on the critical path for production
• To fit and sign off for approval pre-shipments samples.

Looking For

Skills Needed/Looking For;

• Previous experience within a similar role is advantageous.
• Retail experience is advantageous.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
• Numerical and Analytical.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
